It's a phrase often used when confessing. worth noting that he repeated it like that after saying 俺も好きだよ (I like, too) which would most often translate as "I like your hands, too" in that specific scenario. The reason she says "I heard" is because he repeated himself. She didn't think anything of him dropping the subject and didn't consider it a confession. (Though imo they both were using hand proxies to explore their interest in eachother)

2024-08-06 15:21:37 +0000 UTCJust a heads up that could help clear up the "I Love You" scene from last episode, it is a translation mistake when Miyamura said !I love you" and Hori replied "I heard" The translation should have been "I love your hands" Hope this helps :)
