Aizawa is a beast! His arms and body have dozens of broken bones. His face is messed up and his loosing consciousness and yet! He woke up and saved Tsu and Deku! It was just one moment but it was enough to save them 👏🏼

Also season 5 was just messy because of the pandemic and studios Bones did things sort of out order. It was kinda sacked but very important for the story. The Manga itself was incredible. Don’t forget that it’s often sensores and sometimes the anime doesn’t do justice to the artwork

Especially not season 4 since, while its execution wasn't great, it had a lot of important developments story-wise. But yes they're planning on watching the whole show.

2024-08-04 09:45:22 +0000 UTCI think the complaints are mostly exaggerated, the only part that really suffers IMO is the first part of season 5 where there's a few too many similar episodes in a row. It's really more of a pacing issue than anything, and there's tons of character moments that are very important, as well as a lot of really good episodes. Just because you could still follow what's happening by skipping them doesn't mean that is a good idea lol

Season 4 has some of the best episodes in the whole anime and lays the ground for a lot of the things that happen later. S5, while it is the weakest, has some of the most important plot points in the anime and also one of the best episodes, with the most important backstory of every character.

I personally skipped seasons 4 and 5 because I was told nothing happens, and I saw the ratings for these seasons are really low compared to the rest. watching season 6 onwards felt like I didn't really miss anything from S4 and S5, meaning to say I never felt out of the loop despite missing 2 seasons, which was mind blowing.
