I love Ange's crew as they are all good written and lovable characters, but with Genzo's durability and Daddy's gunslinging, Carlie's team is stronger. Especially if waifu/husbando joins the fight then there is no debate :D

2024-07-30 11:08:39 +0000 UTCabout doubling up conversation. I didnt know what side i should pick because i see good points on both sides and i had hard time choosing who to agree with more. BUT i believe that when i cant choose between the two its best to get more context and/or take second opinion. I think Oda's decision to NOT have romance among the crew is a good one and i agreed with it. So because i agree with Oda i will agree with Carle. On the side note, hearing everything Ange had to say, maybe he disagrees because he wants to be Carles Husbando AND her Captain and that is in a way wholesome so i dont mind him beign stuborn about his point. The debate aside, my personal take on life is to never mix business and pleasure. To keep it relevant and stick to crew metaphor, I dont want to be part of the ship if i know Captain is in relationship with one of the crew members. No matter how much i would respect him as a captain i would not trust him to care for me the same way he does for person he loves even though we are both part of his crew. If crew is in danger i cant have faith my captain will care for my safety as much as he would care for his love interest. I would not enjoy being on that ship, i would be afraid of being stuck in situation where captain have to choose between his trusty crew or his loved one (so 99% of crew or just one person) cause i would not trust him to not choose her/him over crew. Not to say i would blame the captain for doing it. I would choose my love interest over anyone, and all my friends now that... my priorities and boundaries are set in stone and everyone is aware of that. But i think if you gonna have love interest on the ship it cant be some crew member, its either co-captainship or something like that but there has to be line. Now i understand methaphor has huge flaw because Ange or Carle are not part of the crew, this is THEIR crew so its kinda different but still, captain and husbando/waifu being same person is just wrong imo P.S. i dont like that video description at all XD TL:DR Carlie2025

I guess it's not clear, but caring for "a man's departure" translated the concept enough for me personally. Also, it might be simple but my understanding of that barrel ceremony is that everyone's kicks together naturally smash that barrel even if Sanji wasn't there to do it himself and it's part of the ritual.

It feels very recent that Toei has been able to gather top quality animators and up their animation game to compete with the best. I think I agree more with Ange but I also get that Carlie wants to make choosing the crew difficult and not easy but at the same time Ange’s argument makes more sense, Lol. I think it’s better to compromise. I think it’s okay to double up on a Character but to make it a little difficult just make sure not to do it too often. Like only once in a while can your Character double up, not all the time.

2024-07-29 20:51:39 +0000 UTCGuys, here's a little suggestion for the crew format. My idea for you is to make a single 10-character-crew with one rule: there should be no more than 5 Strawhats. It could be less but not more. So this crew will have one captain, no matter if that's a Strawhat or not. For now, you have 5 Strawhats in total, but later on it will be very interesting which 5 you'll choose. Also, I don't really think that RANKING Strawhats is a very cool idea. The idea of having 1 favorite character = captain is enough. However, it's just my opinion as it's painful to watch my boys and girls getting ranked, they don't deserve it 😅 And I think it will also be more interesting to follow 1 crew with all the changes rather than 2 with different approaches. It will have both, the understanding of your fav characters and the dynamics provided by side characters. Of course, the most wanted/waifu section is totally fine
