Just a little correction tho: HP is taking place during the edo period (17th- mid 19th century). the Taisho era Demon Slayer is taking place is a relative short period between 1912-1926. Taisho is the continuation of the Meiji period where Japan became international and got influenced by the west as seen by the technology like trains, trams, radio etc. or the fashion like Muzan‘s and his fake family in the first season. also were you both talking about Leif when trying to guess the VA from vinland saga?

In episode 1, I think you guys accidentally skipped the first 101 seconds. I didn't see an editing cut in the video at all when you skipped the OP. I was watching along through a synced video, and I noticed you skipped the dialogue when you skipped the intro. I guess Crunchroll Skip Intro peeps messed up on that one... unless I'm mistaken and it was just edited out.

I knew you would especially with the time period The reason it got so much hate was because the quality and animation dips and it's noticeable but you have to remember mappa decides to take on every project under the sun so they gave less time to this. season 2 has been confirmed but know exact release date!

This show takes place in the Edo period which is between 1603-1868 which is anywhere from 300 to 50 years before demon slayer takes place. They were definitely much more brutal in that era than the taisho
