2024-07-15 17:32:10 +0000 UTCAgreed. Felt like there was a lot of dialogue with little progression of the overall story. I also think the teen/young adult actors in this show make me feel so unserious about many things they say. That's probably just a bias because I really care about immersion and having characters feel believable. Edit: This is not me saying the dialogue is wholly bad, but the dialogue has to feel meaningful to me, and from my perspective, it didn't really land.

2024-07-15 17:09:34 +0000 UTCAgreed. I don't mind slow-pacing when there are character development and plot progression but it only works when there is good writing. I think it was the weakest episode regarding writing this season and the scene with daemon and his mother was really unnecessary. It is a shame because episode 2's writing was one of the best of the serie so far. Especially because game of throne franchise is know for his slow-pacing with amazing writing. so yeah a shame but still i have hope for the rest of the season
