It's actually a little bit similar to Kaguya in that it's the interesting side characters that really make the series. It's not quite as charming as Dress-Up Darling, but it's also not nearly as pervy. 😁

Both are 1 cour series (11-12 episodes - Given does continue into an OVA and I think 2 movies so far) Given leans more toward Slice of Life/Drama and is music focused with some romance whereas Skip and Loafer is very much Slice of Life/Comedy with hints of romance! Hope you can give them a watch eventually!

She is an incredible artist and the show is about her navigating life in the workforce. Its very cutesy and has an amazing artstyle. Another really good one is Bunny Girl Senpai, one of the best shows IMO. Its a little less carefree and actually deals with some pretty serious stuff but that's what makes it so good. Toradora would also be good to put on your radar, its considered by many to be one of the all time S tier romance anime's and its based around the main characters school life sort of like Love is War.

2024-07-14 08:45:05 +0000 UTChumm.. seeing the anime rec form the common above me i wont say it here, but if you want RomCom i got some anime i would recommend 'My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, as I Expected', Fruits Basket(if you haven't watch it already ), Kaichou wa Maid-sama! or one of my Fav 'High Score Girl'(this one is 3D but it not too bed looking and story is very nice :D) and if you want a bit more heavier take on Romance/drama side of thing you can watch, Say "I Love You."/Suki tte Ii na yo. or Kuzu no Honkai. XD

Its about a guy who travels the world and a deaf girl who has never been anywhere because of her disability and how they come to communicate and fall for each other. 'More than a married couple, but not lovers' is also really good as a school assignment pairs students to be "married" and live together (seperate bedrooms) and tests them on how married couples behave. 'Given' is an amazing music/slice of life/ romance anime as it shows how past relationships effect people as they move on with banger music that the VAs sing themselves. And my personal favorite, 'Oresuki, are you the only one who loves me?', its more of a harem but it is incredibly funny as the MC is described as having a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde type personality.

2024-07-13 19:47:55 +0000 UTCTokyo Revenges is another series im surprised you guys haven't done, season 1 got a lot of hype, though i haven't looked into it much since catching up to the manga back when season 1 first ended. im pretty sure season 2 got animated, i read up to the beginning of the last arc on the manga. i think it will end up being a 4 season show, could possibly be a 3 season show, not sure how much of the manga got adapted in season 2. ps. watch the uncensored version, censored version has half the screen cut off because the protagonists have manji symbols on thier clothes, which looks similar to a swastika, but bares no relation, kind of silly in my opinon

First few episodes are a little weird, but the quality skyrockets and genuinely becomes the best romcom/romance in general I've seen in years with a good message and character development. Only 26 episodes too so not a long watch and fairly recent. The music is done by the A Silent Voice composer as well so it's got a great soundtrack too.

I love slice of life, looking through my top favs which I doubt would make it: - A place father than the universe - already mentioned a few times but 11/10 for me so I have to mention it. 13eps self contained series. - Hyouka - mystery slice of life, with some romance done by Kyoto Animantion, so you know it will look good. 22 eps though. - Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon - fantasy slice of life, again by Kyoto Animation. 12 eps season 1, with another season - Barakamon - slice of life, calligrapher needs to find his way in life. - Yuru Camp - chill camping, maybe too chill for a reaction series. 12 eps season 1 with more seasons and movie - Non Non Biyori - chill countryside vide. It's one season, 25 episodes, but fully completed and loved by the anime community. Hell, some parts of the internet watch all of it every December. I also think you'd love its OP. If 25 episodes is too long for you atm then The Dangers in my Heart is 12 episodes per season, with 2 seasons out atm. Comedic rom com that really pulls at your heartstrings. Catchy OP as well. There's also Non Non Biyori, which is slice of life out in the Japanese rural countryside where you follow some normal and quirky girls in their daily lives. 3 seasons and a movie, I think? 12 episodes each.

You guys have seen the opening previously, and it would be refreshing as we have working adults instead of high schoolers 2. Skip and Loafer (12 ep) - suuuper wholesome, coming of age, high school slice of life. Very comfy, chill w/ little to no drama I feel you guys would enjoy. 3. Rascal does not dream of bunny girl senpai (13 ep + 3 movies) - this is not entirely slice of life. Without spoiling, it has some other elements and is more emotional at certain points than the 2 animes above. Still has the high school coming-of-age themes with a good romance and comedy.

Monogatari - My love story Shirobako I know that none of them are going to get picked but I at least want to put them out there. Maybe someone might get interested in watching them. :)
