Blood bending is so creepy but cool and impressive, its some voldemort stuff "congratulations karata, your a blood bender" the chills from that

Fire Cape

could you explain a little?

Ryguy_Shyguy121

That cabbage totally looked like Gran Gran lol

Nat

hama could not bloodbend herself free, shes not strong enough to bloodbend without use of her entire body and arm motions. I would elaborate further but that would spoil stuff in LOK if they ever watch it

One of my favorite episodes but the one tests my suspense of disbelief the most. The way Katara just goes "oh hey, I draw power from the moon too, I'm immune to bloodbending now", and then bloodbends for the first time with no training whatsoever... you'd think if it were that easy waterbenders would have put two and two together long ago. Also Hama would obviously bloodbend herself free when the villagers were dragging her away at the end lol

I love your discussions after each episode. In other reactor videos I usually skip the ending/discussion, but you two have such a good understanding of all of the individual characters and their motivations, it makes for a much better analysis and discussion. Keep it up!

Also combustion. Let's not forget Spark Spark Boom Man

I've always liked this episode a lot even if I don't agree with the idea of blood bending being any more inherently bad than other forms of bending.

Jer

Really appreciate the kind words!

Definitely one of my most remembered episodes as a kid. It was scary then but it was also really cool to see another sub bending in the show. Now we know of 3 sub bendings: lightning, metal, and blood.

I gotta say y'all's chemistry is great! A bunch of other couples on YouTube are always trying to one up each other and seem awkward, not saying I know anything about their relationships but at least on screen you too are great to watch.

??

Honestly, when I first saw this episode, when I was a kid around 6-7 years old, I was watching it with my dad. I remember asking him why Katara's crying at the end because I just thought it was just such a cool and useful ability to have, and I full-heartedly thought there was nothing to be upset about (im rly glad i didnt have the ability to bloodbend when i was 6)

Waterbending werewolf sent me lmao

This is like I said one of my favorite for so many reasons, of course the new bending method being introduced but as well as the writing, they do so many little hints to Hama being a water bender like the line to katara saying we’ll get along swimmingly, u guys should rewatch it and see how many little hints and puns they show to let u know she’s a waterbender I love it, hands down one of the greatest episodes 🙌🏽‼️

Abdur-Rahmaan Brooks

one of my favourite things is when hama waterbends at katara and katara just stands her ground like an earthbender - 10/10 got tingles

Clownsie

Not traumatized but definitely one of the most memorable episodes from when I watched it as a kid. Sort of like the end to Book 2, its one of the rare episodes where the Gaang doesn't come out better than they were going in.

This is hands down one of the best episode of Avatar in season 3, except of the finales. This episode and the southern raiders episodes are such a well written episode. Always give me chills.

Rizzo from Indo

Definitely the best sub-bending!
