2024-08-04 22:54:15 +0000 UTCI agree with you on the point that it doesnt need 2 episodes of that sort of material and the live action did that better, i just meant it'll give them more context on buggy as a character and they already inferred on alivda theories in their reaction, despite it being for 2 eps. yeah they didnt die but they wouldnt have known how or why those 2 got acquainted in the first place. again I agree with you its just unfortunate they decided to pad it out to 2 eps (also mb for the late reply I just re upped my subscription today)

Also try not to spoil things in the comments take for example the live action, they met on a bar and stared at each other for 5 seconds, and those 5 seconds give the same context and depth the 2 episodes give. You cant possibly say its ok to have 40 minutes of that cmom

Maybe at best a small scene after the "to be continued" like a post credit. Otherwise, why did he put them as cover storys instead of chapters?

And theres a lot in the LA i could say its better, like Buggys performance, and how the crew found their way to Arlong park. (in the original Yosaku came back riding a shark). Its still odas plot, only the way it was put together was improved in certain parts imo, which makes sense because there are parts of the manga where its clear Oda didnt and probably couldnt spend too much time thinking about HOW to make things happen, because he had alredy spent too much time on WHAT would happen, and unfortunatly Japan is harsh on deadlines

Its their choise to watch it or not, but going around saying its important to know what the character has been up to when in a conversation with someone who has alredy watch it you would probably say it sucks is weird

Why would i watch it if it was the same? also oda was a teenager wen he started OP, theres a lot of stuff that just wasnt that good. And some stuff he wrote on the spot because early on he had to publish something every week. One piece is my favorite fictional IP, but theres nothing wrong with admiting that. You cant expect the Live action make namis head become bigger when shes mad, and make her grow shark teeth

2024-07-09 20:52:34 +0000 UTCI didn't even finish the live action because I didn't like certain changes like introducing Gaarp that early and revealing he's Luffy's grandfather, a reveal that takes hundreds of episodes in the anime , also the whole circus with buggy I didn't like , and the way they meet in general, they're not big things,but they're annoying for me being a huge anime and manga fan so seeing them totally change stuff got to me, even though Oda was okay with it, also, I've heard the live action won't have a character I won't spoil cuz is coming at some point, because they can't have an actor play them, because they're an animal, so they're just thinking of cutting him completely, which is crazy, he's a big part of the show, just as Nami ,Sanji and everyone else. ,plus ,no matter what, I don't imagine them finding an actress to do justice to Nico Robin, never

2024-07-09 20:29:15 +0000 UTCThis show is amazing,and you guys haven't gotten to the good parts yet, the next few arcs are alright but soon after , you'll get to one of the best,,early" one piece arcs, good villain,even better side characters than the current ones, and a lot of crying, well, with one piece in general there WILL be a lot of crying,also, that arc will introduce the best one piece waifu of all time, can't wait to see your opinions on her , she's also one of the best characters in the show in general,and she keeps getting better and better the more you find about her, ,this show is amazing

And she has been using pictures for some of the characters ,like Zoro and shanks that are from way further in the show, and for Zoro at least I feel like the picture spoils his ,, transformation" or at least what he might go through in the future, is weird you didn't mention anything about that and that you aren't using pictures from where you are in the show currently

It's a short story written by Oda about a certain character and how they are re-introduced into the main story. I understand it may not be terribly interesting to watch, but it's still kinda important to know what this character has been up to since we last saw them.

She likes to keep this strict personality on the outside (so no goodbye hugs and kisses to her sister and villagers), but she is actually a softie inside (she leaves them 100 million berry after spending 8 years of her life collecting it). And now she is officially a pirate, and her first act as one is to steal the wallets (she is a thief after all) while jumping to her new life. It’s like she was finally being herself once again…ahahaha I would have like for the Live Action to explain her new tattoo to be honest. It would have been nice. The tangerine (her ‘mom’), the pinwheel (her ‘dad’) and the style of her sister’s tattoos covering/erasing the saw shark one, symbol of her life as a slave.
