2024-06-22 22:23:22 +0000 UTCIf you go over the dialogue in EP1 where the girls are talking in the classroom and in EP3 the mob characters talking while Marin walks down the hall carefully you'll understand where Marin get's her money. It also explains Marins behavior a bit. This is an example of the difficulty in adapting something to the screen. Reading the dialogue in the manga allows you to let it sink in, but when it's spoken it shoots by so quickly that you are busy with the next thing. Especially with subtitles.

When Gojo took the cake from Marin he was basically saying "come on in" which is why she sauntered past him. Also Swallowtail Wigs is a real store in Japan. The mangaka got permission to use it in the manga. When this is over I'd love to see a reaction to Wotakoi. I know Carlie said she'd love to see an adult romance and liked the opening for it.
