I guess I was just looking for equal call out on both sides. I like both women though. If I had it my way they would be together screw everyone else lol They compliment each others weaknesses and strengths greatly.

She is hiding what she is doing with Sir Criston because she herself is breaking “law” not because she is conflicted. As a high-borne woman in that time period she should remain celibate even after her husband’s death, unless she was to remarry another man of “NOBLE” birth. If we are going to hold one woman to misogynistic standards let’s hold all women to them. Also the whole line from season 1 episode 9 Alicent: “Everything you feel for me…as your queen.” (Her and Criston stare longingly in each others eyes” Like come on. Everyone knew the had developed feelings. My point I think I was trying to make was Alicent lets men walk all over her and I just wish she had the strength to side with Rhaenyra to change Westores for the better. For women. It takes one free thinker to change the world. That’s not a 2024 mindset It was law to own slaves at one point. Let’s be happy some free thinkers said “Hey! This is wrong” Rhaenyra is right, if she was a MAN she would have been able to father bastards left and right and no one would blink an eye. She was right when she told her kid that they are Targaryen. Why should they be bastards because of who their father is? That’s just my hot take but everyone is entitled to like what they like

Also also, you don't have to laugh, smile, and show humanity to not be called a monster. and Aemond killing Luke was an accident, he was just toying with him, and he only ever wanted his eye. (also he may not always say what he means but that's going to be explored later)

If you want this cycle of violence to end you just need to do one thing: kill off all leading male characters. Or if you think you need some leading male roles, replace them with Starks..😂😂 War is over... If I had to make a top 7 list of most likable characters (that are alive!) in this it would still be a 100% testosterone free zone ngl.😂 Yeah some may be badasses, but that is it really.. In this way the show is truly awfully balanced. Meanwhile the show tries very hard to balance the colours so they can keep their split fan groups. Not necessary a bad thing, but the way they do it🤦 In order to keep both sides likable they decide to bring up misundersandings and accidents much to often. Yeah, Alicent didn't really mean to usurp the throne, just a misundersanding with the kings last words... Oh, Aemond didn't really mean to kill Luc. Just his dragon did go frenzy yk? Just an accident .. No, Daemon didn't give the order to kill "this son" actually. It was just a misundersanding or the greed of Blood and Cheese.. (We know his words were "no head no money", as they repeated this).. Imo this is a very cheap way to keep characters somewhat likable. In this way this is really poor writing and miles away from GoT where we undestood even bad actions from characters as they were written understandable. We knew how they went this path and it made sense! (Ofc we completely ignore the last season on this and actually every account!😉). The (necessary) time jumps in this show really poisened it in this way. This was sth GoT didn't have to deal with and it makes it much easier for them for sure. I still like this show as it still has (mostly female) characters I can connect with (on both sides) and it is visually breath taking. And while still not picking sides I must admit that Rhaenyra has the rightful claim on the throne by all means.

We dont really like to get political when watching a show so our support for team green is a lot more simple and less to do with disliking rhaenyra. We much prefer rhaenyra after ep 5 of season 1. There are great characters on both sides.

First will we start with the greens taking the iron throne when it wasn't there's like the Lannister in game of Thrones and I just feel the hypocrisy of alicent and christian cole, season 1 aegon did the no consent sex which is terrible he was a drunk and into season 2 it seems he has changed but no enough for my support, aemon killed rhyneras kid out of pride and hatred (though the dragon did it he would done if he had the chance) its just to much negative stuff with the greens and lastly the one footed fella has no sense of caring about other he strictly want chaos to climb the ladder. If anyone disagrees with what i'm saying please lmk what you think i'm wrong about. TEAM BLACK ALL THE WAY

She was introduced in the show as the princess, and then the heir to the Iron Throne. As someone with that claim, she has her duties. Her fathering bastards basically put this whole thing in a point of no return because the realm will not accept bastards to rule after her. And the in-universe people know that her children are bastards just from how they look. It's not about shaming her for liking sex while being a woman. It's about her not being careful about it while she has the title of princess and heir to the Iron Throne. You also gotta remember that this story is adapting the medieval setting, so it's really hard to apply 2024 sensibilities in it. We also have no confirmation about Alicent cheating with Criston while Viserys was alive. That's just an assumption that Team Black keeps pushing without proof. All we have rn now is that, yes, Alicent is having sex with Criston, but her husband is literally dead. And she's fulfilled her duties since she was a teenager. Knowing her place in the world. And I think that actually shows a lot of strength and dedication.

But it never sat right with me how you guys judged Rhaenyra so hard for being sexual or exploring her sexuality as a young girl. But Alicent at the ripe age of 35…it’s ok? She’s of an age where she knows better. Her frontal cortex fully formed and working and she gets a “pass” because she has done “right” for the past 16 years? That’s a tad hypocritical to me. Also she was definitely having an emotional affair with Criston while Viserays was still alive. That’s cheating…idk I agree she deserves grace because women shouldn’t be shamed for liking sex or exploring but you didn’t show Rhaenyra any grace at all. Anyway…Team Black 🖤 gotta root for the side of positive change for women. Good reaction though

I am just team Rhaenys actually as she is my most beloved character (so far 😉)! 😂 She really has a presence that fills a room...😍A worthy queen.
