riot confirmed that EVERY new content will be cannon which means they cant kill off champions and/or bringing dead people in to the game. IF "champion" died then they have to retire them and if they do bring them back (lets say reworked champion with new design and abilities) then that will also be canon around all riot games media, so in short i dont think any playable characters are dying BUT we might get some changes to their pre-existing lore

2024-06-13 07:18:32 +0000 UTCOne of the possible story lines they can use that would connect with Arcane is the Noxus invasion of Ionia. Pre-Arcane timeline Singed made chemical weapons for Noxus that get used in the invasion.

2024-06-13 07:18:00 +0000 UTCI was thinking that if they were to do an Ionia story in the future, it's certainly possible we could see Akali chasing after Jhin and heading back to Piltover. Might be something they do far in the future, but it could be a way to revisit some old faces by that point.

2024-06-13 06:42:30 +0000 UTCI wonder if any of the in-game characters will die. It would feel kinda weird to kill off a character who is still kicking in the game but who knows. I have complete faith in the production to wrap this series up nicely either way.

It would make sense too since Ionia and Noxus have been at odds for a while (as seen in the Awaken cinematic) and Noxus has been mentioned in Arcane several times.

Christian Linke (one of the showrunners) mentioned in a short that there are new shows and film(s) in production to expand the universe. Fingers crossed they're all great quality and they don't overdo it.
