He's always cussing and grumbling but shows how he really feels through his actions. Imo there are so many characters that are sooo well written in OP and I love seeing their development over the episodes. I adore the LA a LOT. But it's sad that due to the compressed time they have for the episodes a lot of important stuff gets lost. However, I LOVE that it managed (with so little time they still managed to keep the heart of the show) to draw so many new fans to the story and I'm having such a good time watching all these people fall for these characters and the world. <3

2024-06-12 05:15:34 +0000 UTCThere is one thing in the live action that makes me extremely sad they cut out. I wish they had shown Sanji watching the Zoro and Mihawk fight. We saw how opposed he was to the fight and now we can fully see why he was. Sanji is the only one that we have met so far that has given up on his dream. Currently he has pushed all of that aside because he feels he owes more to Zeff and he is only living to see Zeff’s dream through to the end. I think he just couldn’t understand how Zoro could stand up and die for his dream because he has pushed his aside selflessly. Sanji is truly a kind and selfless person, and sometimes it seems to a great fault, even over his own wants and needs. I think Sanji witnessing that dual was extremely important

2024-06-11 19:11:26 +0000 UTCyep, anime changed Zeff eating his leg because it's too brutal for kids' audience. Glad that it was adapted into the live-action. By the way, anime also skipped adapting the scene when Luffy tried to stab his eye/face getting the scar under his eye.
