It's just kinda of silly when you translate to english, because "Taka no me" Means "Hawk eyed", as in "the man with hawk eyes" so most translations went with Hawkeye to translate the way people reference to Mihawk. His name, being Mihawk, also kind of means Hawkeye, "Mi" can be referenced as eyes or sight related in japanese, and well, Hawk. So while his japanese name would be "The hawk eyed (In japanese) Mihawk (Normal)." The translation ends up weird as it repeats the same thing 2 times.
