2024-06-04 07:53:52 +0000 UTCWhen Ange paused on the scene with the "male" waiter/vendor, you can actually see it all click in his head 😂 Love how the seemingly one-off mysteries (alcohol poisoning, warehouse explosion, seaweed poisoning, escape room cabinet) were all part of a long but meticulous plan. Whoever's backing up Suirei must definitely have power at some level (I really hope we get more than 2 seasons of AD because the manga is getting even more exciting whew) As for Jinshi's monologue, I'm of the understanding that Jinshi's own knowldge is he's the Emperor's brother but does NOT want to be next in line, hence why he wants the Emperor to quickly have a son. Interesting idea that he might have an inkling re: his origins/birth secret because he is suspiciously close to Ah Duo 🧐

Based on your theory, he has grown up as the emporers younger brother. The “sick” brother no one sees; BECAUSE. For the last five years, Jinshis been in the rear palace undercover as a eunuch to watch over the emporers consorts and making sure nothing sus is going on there. But based on the baby swapping theory, his true identity would be the emporers oldest son; the prince. Which means, someone knows who he really is. And wants to get rid of him, since no other son born after would be able to be an heir. So Jinshis existence is a threat.
