yeah a smartass on internet who never met me before knows my MO and psyche and understands what i think more than i do. Obviously i am not saying togashi was purposefully making an innuendo when writing that scene but that does not take away from the fact that when it was animated it just screamed innuendo with moaning and you know... actual fact that they are feeding him their fluids... are you even comprehending the concept of innuendo? that being said, what exactly proof you have that i dont understand what author is doing when i am showing by examples the patterns. i also noticed that you provided 0 counter arguments, just making a random post insulting my intelligence with a bunch of filler. If i wanted i could argue that Togashi is sexist and i could come up with enough proof from manga and anime to at least spark a controversy but i dont do that, i am simply stating my opinion on how convoluted his writing is and that with so many hiatuses he just forgets his own plot and loses cohesiveness

2024-12-26 06:00:18 +0000 UTCthe whole show is full of moments where it goes one way and just before it should come to satisfying outcome of said path togashi throws bunch of curveballs that inevitably come to same conclusion OR results in no conclusion. IDEA behind it is good and some good moments come out of it, but its convoluted and not always executed well. If a story is written in a way where its obvious where its going and then you add bunch of stuff that dont impact where you get then you are just adding bunch of filler for no reason. That is a selling technique that works well and it works for hxh considering how popular it is, but in my case there is limit to how much bs i can let go. the last straw for me was the guzzling > revival > poison > walking chernobyl > death. its just convoluted way of making dead man die. And cheap way to get rid of yuppi and pouf too. Instead of having epic killua and pouf fight we get blueballed with that and have pouf cum in his pants from idea king is getting stronger by eating his DNA (like that isnt innuendo), And Yuppi already had a well written out of the story via knuckles nen but that was all abandoned in spite of roughly 10 episodes leading towards that (thanks to exesive use of narrator). And you know Togashi fucked up with his convoluted plot twists for sake of shock value cause he forced himself in the corner and had to pull the random shit out of his ass and give pouf ability to change his voice on atomic lvl to sound like other people and that is the level of bullshit you have to do when you dont plan ahead and just worry about plot twists instead of plot cohesiveness. I am not saying Togashi is bad writer, just that he is iresponsible one

There are some nice moments but overall i was hating when he does this every time
