2024-05-27 12:50:38 +0000 UTCJust want to say...the subs are placed perfectly imo 🙂 Anyway, Maomao's mind is full of a lot of stuff and Jinshi's trip to a brothel house is not one of them 😆 rather it's the question he asked. She didn't like that. That's Strike 1. Then Jinshi gave her the drink saying it's from the "weirdo" and Maomao knows who that is. That's Strike 2. Lastly, Jinshi told her about Lakan wanting to see her...Strike 3! 💥*BOOM!*💥 😱 Jinshi really made Maomao think of stuff she doesn't want to think about...multiple times. Also, when Maomao said "He found out", she meant Lakan. Remember she's hiding from him. He found out she's there. Idk why Maomao seems desperate for the resurrection medicine but knowing her, it's probably coz she wants the information on how to make that particular medicine. Her hunger for knowledge is not normal. Her dad knows, that's why he didn't allow her to touch corpses (refer to ep.9). And it's Loumen. I think Maomao's just saying her dad's name for advertising purposes so people would know who to look for 🤣 I'd choose Lakan too. Maomao knows too much about different kinds of poisons. Higher chances of survival if you faced Lakan, you just have to be smarter, more cunning and more intuitive than him. Unlike Maomao. I bet she can make a poison that doesn't look, feel, taste or smell like poison and you'll never know what killed you.

2024-05-27 11:31:45 +0000 UTCNot sure if it slipped by you, but before Lakan calls Jinshi a thief, he says that for years, he's been trying to negotiate a price with the old lady to buy Maomao, but the old lady has been stubbornly rejecting him. So, Jinshi's timing in regards to buying Maomao doesn't really have anything to do with the fact. But what you can infer is that the old lady doesn't like Lakan, and Lakan doesn't like Jinshi. 😂
