2 things. 1. Iron’s quote “In the darkest times, hope is something we give ourselves. That is the meaning of inner strength.” Is my 2nd favorite of his in the whole series.
2. One more episode!!! The Melon Lord will grace ya’ll with their presence!

I forget if someone ever mentioned, but the voice actors for the main three were all kids! I recall Ange asking a while back whether the voices were adults or not.

True, I couldn't remember the order of things and didn't want to inadvertently spoil anything

Not the first time they saw it. Roku bends lava in the Winter solstice episode back in book one and they show an Fire Nation avatar beding lava in the Avatar State episode, the first episode of this book.

The math is definitely wrong, but the answer is right. Kyoshi was the last earth avatar. But she came before Roku. The order is the same as the intro: Water -> Earth -> Fire -> Air. That would be the last water avatar -> Kyoshi -> Roku -> Aang

all avatars are water benders, earth benders, fire benders & air benders
not one more than any other, the entire point of the avatar is that they are a bender of all elements, it is that way because it allows them to connect with each culture on a fundamentally deep level, in order to promote and instill balance & peace
the order in which i listed the elements above is also the order of the avatar cycle 🌊⛰️🔥💨
kyoshi lived for 250 years, after her was avatar roku the avatar born to fire benders, then aang was born.
before kyoshi was a water tribe avatar, again all avatars are benders of every element, so don't get to hung up on which element they were in terms of skill or ability, they master all of them equally by the time they reach adulthood regardless

Kyoshi is an Earthbender, she came directly before Roku in the Avatar cycle. She actually lived a really long time (like 200+ years) but the show doesn't talk about that at all. There are some Kyoshi books that go into those details. Also, the fire that Ange kept pointing out is actually lava which is considered an extension of Earthbending. This is the first time you guys have seen lavabending and it isn't ever really explained in this show. The idea behind it is lava is just molten earth, so it's like how waterbenders can freeze/unfreeze water.
