Idea for the crew section: After we get the OG 5, add extra slots to the crew based on actual crewmates that join in the anime. So when a member gets added in the anime, you guys get an extra slot to add someone to your own crews. Considering just how many characters you're going to meet on this journey, unlocking new slots to fit some extras in would be cool. You're still going to have to pick and choose and make tough calls, it'll just make it a little easier when you get further in when there's so many great characters you meet. XD

So when crewmate 6 comes aboard, expand the crew by one and so-forth. It'll still be a challenge to figure out who stays and goes off the crew, but allows for expansion as more and more people are introduced.

Like these old medival european moral-stories(in usopps example i think about "The boy and the wolf") but Oda takes them twists and turns them and make them fit into his idea on building-up the one piece storyline/characters. Fr the only thing that the LA lacks for me is the immense depth in the backstories. Can't wait for Sanji/Nami. The anime is way more touching.

2024-05-20 21:38:24 +0000 UTCOne thing that I think a lot of western viewers don't understand is that Usopp's lies are never framed as a flaw of his. In fact, they are a major strength of his. Like his major conflict in this arc isn't to learn not to lie, but to have the courage and strength to defend his lie. He says every morning that pirate are coming, and everyone knows it a lie and Usopp is determined not to be proven honest. Its a very interesting take on whats normally seen as 'right' in media. Also Usopp and Yasopp are blood related, idk why you think Kuro would know that and be correct. He was basically just calling Usopp a b@stard.

But, I think they still kept the general themes and characters personalities. So I personally didn't mind or notice as much the changes. 😊
