Jin is actually not an Earthbender thing! It's a real world concept in martial arts as a whole 🥰 All the bending disciplines are based on real fighting styles that exist in our world and they translated that into the choreography of the show. It's one of the many things that makes this show next level.

I miss it already :( It was so homey and familiar and felt natural. Coming back to it every time felt very comfortable. It has a certain pleasant cadence and rhythm to the intro, very iconic. But I understand change is inevitable. But that's just my opinion in a sea of opinions. I know I saw some comments teasing you guys for it (maybe also in good fun), but I personally really enjoyed the familiarity. Endearing intro, in my opinion, as strange as it is to say. It's similar to the comfortability of hearing "Find out next time, on Dragon Ball Z." It's just not the same when it's missing lol

When Zuko was banished he left only the high part to remind him of his royal heritage and his honor. By cutting it off, both he and Iroh reject their status as Fire Nation royals.

2024-05-15 22:36:53 +0000 UTCSo you guys were spot on, 3 of the bending nations learned bending from animals, airbenders from sky bison, firebenders from dragons, and earthbenders from badger moles. As they said at the end of the last season, water benders learned by watching the moon push and pull the tides. This is just good bending forms though, they already had the basic ability to manipulate their element, as that is genetic (mostly).
