I love your after episode comments. Sometimes both you got some wild far out theories and then once in awhile surprise me from the left field.

Discussion portion went crazy and I loved every second of ittttt. Question: will you be reacting to OP 1 ❓
Cour 1 is ending (up to ep 12) so there'll be a new opening come ep 13. OP 2 has some spoilers in it so maybe hold off reacting after the whole season's over. Real keen for your OP 1 reaction tho! Sequence has no spoilers whatsoever, and it's one of the standout tracks of the anime season (personally love the base line in the chorus) 😍
As always, can't wait for the upcoming reactions!

Ahh dang it, did we say otherwise? We definitely knew that, but we mustve gotten all our names jumbled while we were coming up with crazy theories 😅

Hi there! Sorry for the misunderstanding,I should've specified, I was talking about the risk of ingesting too much salt. I was explaining about the fact that taking too much salt can lead to poisoning cuz essentially you're not evacuating toxins via urine and therefore toxins are building up in your organism which can lead to death. Also I really don't see what made you think in my previous comment that I was advising drinking water or anything along those lines when poisoned🤔
But what you said is entirely true, the best is always to call for emergency/authorities, they're the best suited for medical concerns👍

PSA: It really depends on the poison. Some toxins can become more dangerous if you introduce water into someone's stomach, others can be safely diluted and flushed out naturally. Modern medicine basically says this: if you know someone definitely ingested poison, stay calm. If they're in a bad shape, call for emergency services and try to keep them conscious. If you have the container where the poison was stored, show it to the first responders. Other than that, do not do anything! Some medical services suggest ingesting a LITTLE water or milk, but not every one does and it's debated if it has any effect besides giving momentary comfort to the patient. There used to be a recommendation to forcefully induce vomiting, but this is no longer recommended as it often induces choking and makes things more complicated than they need to be. So don't just willy nilly make people swallow water unless you know exactly what you're doing. If the poison was introduced through other means, you can do something: if it's on their skin or in the eyes, rinse it off for 20 minutes; if it's in the air, take them outside and let them rest. That's about all you can do. The rest is in the hands of medics and doctors.

And also if you retain more water, the less you eliminate via urination and the more toxins are building up in your organism and you end up poisoned

Maomao was correct; if something were to happen, Jinshi would be the one to give the order, and he would have to do so; even if he didn't want to. That's why she said it's not a matter of would/would not; it's can/cannot, and in his position, he CAN. He's the manager of the rear palace, and oversees the people and events there on behalf of the emperor. If Maomao made a mistake and caused someone to get hurt or die, especially if it was someone higher than her, she very well could be executed. That's why she only leads clues, and doesn't want to specifically accuse someone or know too much about a case. I loved that scene even though it was really somber; it really gave you more insight on her thought process and how she understands how fragile this life is.

Too much salt can mess with your electrolytes, jack up you blood pressure and can contribute to a stroke.
