Yeah definitely some of the weaker stuff in this arc but it's still nice to see what the other characters have going on even though at this point people just clearly want gon vs pitou and netero vs meruem.

2024-05-05 16:43:53 +0000 UTCI just checked, and you're right. But there's a difference in translation and that's why it was easy to miss. In the anime Killua says "and just as that last fight gave me a hint for improving my power". It doesn't hit as strongly as saying having an idea for a great technique. That's why most reactors didn't even react to that line in the anime. But when you throw around the term 'new or great technique', the interest of the viewer gets piqued. Just like when Killua mentioned it before the palace invasion you see how C&A was excited about it.

2024-05-03 22:13:11 +0000 UTCgon and pitou interaction alone was longer than 3 minutes before he decided to sit down and wait. that whole concept of "its in slow motion" is bullshit once you add intense staredowns and long pauses between sentences during dialogue. in "three minutes", welfin sees killua kill ants, go to investigate elevator, gives up on following, go out, notice mereolon, tried to use his ability on him... meanwhile each inner monologue in his mind in every one of these scenes takes longer than a 3 minutes XD this whole 3min claim is just bullshit and poor attempt to hype

I feel like the anime kinda glossed over the explanation on how Killua learned it, but during his fight with the darts using ants, he realized that he could use electricity to make his body react automatically. When he was lying on the ground dying from blood loss, he was actually saying "Am I really gonne die here? Shit.. Just when I got an idea for a great technique". I'm a bit disappointed that the anime cut that line (different translation). It would have foreshadowed/built up Godspeed even better. But im here once again to remind you guys to react to episodes 125-126 together, its going to be so much worth it seeing you react to those episode, you can put in there episodes 130-131 (131 can be watched alone but you get a better build up if you watch both together)
