2024-04-29 20:46:31 +0000 UTCI forgot to mention this earlier when I first watched the reactions but I hadn't paid attention to the how well the Zuko-Aang fight choreography was done until Ange pointed it out. I just chalked it up to great animation but after watching the full series I think it was purposefully choreographed that way for narrative purposes too. Also Ange being Team Aang gives me so much joy (not for the shipping per se but just in general) He's my absolute favourite character in this show too, it's so hard not to love him!

2024-04-28 03:25:32 +0000 UTCI remember when I first watched this show I didn't particularly care for Zutara or Kataang, I just wanted Aang and Zuko to become friends somehow because I hated how individually lonely they both were (even though Aang had Katara and Sokka). That episode of Aang asking Zuko if he thought they'd have been friends if not for the war really got to me. 🥹 It didn't help that the show kept showing so many parallels between them through the narrative, I was rooting for that enemies to friends so bad lmao! That said I don't think Zutara would work given how both Zuko and Katara are so hot headed and stubborn, they both could use some of Aang's carefree nature in their lives (with some Sokka's instincts sprinkled in xD)
