Also found it funny how KHR and Gintama fans wanted a resubmission xD I feel like you guys would really like Wotakoi (such a sweet, wholesome romcom), definitely recommend it! Otaku can be roughly translated to nerd, but it's basically the Japanese term for someone who enjoys anime, manga, games, etc. Saw someone rec Kemono Jihen up top, I'd rec the ed of that one over the op.

Plus the Todoroki family arc is a MUST watch in any story medium. It would be worthwhile to only watch snippets of MHA for this arc. But it may be too much to trudge through to get to that point.

The animation is uneven compared to something like JJK or Demon Slayer, but I'm WAY more emotionally invested in the story and characters.

I share a lot of Ange's tastes, epescially when it comes to characters and music. MHA delivers in both of those categories. with how much he loved Haikyuu, I have a strong expectation he'll enjoy MHA, they're very similar vibes. Also, side note, not everything you dislike has to be 'trash', you can just say it's not for you

2024-03-24 16:21:29 +0000 UTCI try so hard to like it but couldn't, - They tried so hard to push emotions on me, I was like: Let me feel good or bad or sad for said character, why are they pushing so hard to make me feel said way, - There is not a single likeable character on the main cast, don't get me wrong they are good but not one that I can say "this is my character here" not a single one - The idea that they call a "Villain" a simple person doing a crime like if there is someone doing a felony, you have to call him a "Villain" is so cringe. - The fighting scenes were ok but why is there so much internal dialogue fights, is good to have them but name me one fight that wasn't a internal dialogue fight scene that wasn't All Might against Nomu.

It only got forgotten and put in the background because after this some very popular anime got released. Especially since you specifically noted Chris Sabat, it's maybe his best role and I think the Dub is spectacular and perfect for a show like that. I've seen the whole show in both versions but only the dub voices truly hit me hard. But as I said, I'm just one person, I imagine you'd probably go for Subbed, I just wanted to put that out there and pray it happens. <3

Kuroko no Basket a good replacement for Blue Lock to see another type of sports anime. And I reckon you'd love the MC for My Hero Academia, I'd say he's a bit like the Tanjiro/Yuji/Gon/maybe even Hinata type 🌞
