Dog wtf are you talking about? Chigiri's backstory build up and his climactic comeback moment are objectively the most hype moment in the series up to this point. Seems like you have some weird personal thing going on because idk why you would have such a hot take.

Blue Lock isn't a one-man type of show and it has a lot of twists and turns. Haikyuu is great, but so is Blue Lock in a completely different way,

He was told his joy for outperforming his rivals, and confidence in his ability to play unhindered was in tatters. Literally joined Bluelock half assedly as an excuse to put the game behind him. Its somewhat sad that part of him knew he had what it took to be the best in the world but didnt wanna risk crippling his leg, so he created excuses to make himself feel better about giving up. People can dislike Chigiri all they want, but I respect the fortitude and courage it took to throw caution to the wind, all for that blissful moment of wiping the smug grins from Kuon and the twins' faces xD Also showing Isagi that he is HIM

2024-03-15 14:30:00 +0000 UTCEpisode 7 is the episode that made me dislike blue lock. When I watched it on my own when it first released I only watched episode 8 after this and then stopped. For me chigiri was the most dislikeable character, yes even more so than Kuon, and then everything was focused on him. Kuon atleast did everything to win but with Chigiri it felt like up until the end of episode 7 he did nothing but stand around. Plus I felt like his moment was really anticlimactic. They dragged that built up out for way too long. But tbh, it feels a little bit better the 2nd time around with the reactions.

Its everything the first selection is but dialed up to 200% on pure hype and action. Knew Ange would pick up on the soundtrack, one of the most epic themes (if you learn to play it for the intro song I’d be pumped af). Keep an ear on his VA too, it’s the first time you hear emotion in his acting but does an amazing job bringing intensity to the scenes

Not good physically or even 1v1 but elite awareness and ball striking and then weight of passes to his teammates. Or maybe if we come close to a striker maybe Thomas Muller with his awareness and knack for goal but also his assists.

It's really annoying for English names that get translated in the subs wrong because of this... aka.. Leo here being written as Reo or even Alan in Haikyuu being written as Aran. But yeah, his name is Leo
