2024-03-14 16:54:38 +0000 UTCI think most people will have good memory of shows that they're invested in. And I do think that C&A have good memory for this show. I don't think they're really forgetting anything big, are they? They even caught the puppy thing back in season 1. But that's the thing, for a lot of people including me, if you give us too many mysteries but blue ball us on answers for so long, there's a tendency that our investment will be lowered. It's the same thing for me with AoT. I wasn't really invested in the story until the Marley reveal because before that, they were just fighting the titans without really knowing what they are and that went on for too long and it was frustrating.

Some people are good at remembering details because they're invested in what's happening. I happen to fall into that camp when it comes to virtually any TV show I watch. Others might need things answered right after they're brought up. All I know is that C&A would likely have HATED ABC's LOST. My favorite live-action show of all time lol.

2024-03-12 05:05:53 +0000 UTCThe mysteries after mysteries piling up and not getting answered was the same frustration I had with like the first two and half seasons of Attack on Titan but it may have worked better for AoT because its world and story feels more compact, whereas Re: Zero being in a fantasy world gives you a feeling that it's a vast open-world game and you've spent plenty of time in it already and still don't know crap.
