Do you two just want Gon and Killua to go back and die? Because that's what's going to happen if they rush their training and go straight back to NGL just because of some cheap "win" to get the wooden piece. C'mon, guys... y'all are getting frustrated at like... nothing. They've been given a month by Netero to complete this task and Bisky has been called to get them stronger within that time. They'd be STUPID not to take advantage of the time given to them. edit: Glad to see Ange say that they're not as frustrated as they came off during the episode portion. I feel like if you take a moment to think about the information we've been given so far things make sense.

I think Gon had plenty of time to grow attached to Kite especially considering all the stories Kite told Gon about his father, the fact that Kite was directly trained under his father, etc. I think Gon might have been STARTING to look up to Kite as a sort of stand-in for his "father figure" right before he was killed. Why wouldn't this be a good enough reason for Gon's character to develop? He's a 12-year-old impressionable boy, after all.

R.I.P. to the legendary mangaka who inspired and paved the way to so many other great mangakas after him. I actually never caught that Morel's smoke bunnies were inspired from Gotenks' ghosts but when Ange mentioned it, I got flashes of it in my mind and remembered they even kinda make the same sounds. 2024-03-07 18:41:28 +0000 UTCJust a side note. They kept saying that Kite's En reaches 45m. In episode 86 you can see Pitou's En seem to reach probably more than 1km. And Killua's grandpa back in Yorknew while looking for Chrollo said that his En could reach up to 300m. While En is not the be all and end all of nen power scaling - Killua's grandpa may have just focused on harnessing his En because it's very useful in assassination, and in the same breath, it's very useful for Pitou as a royal guard detecting threats to the Queen and unborn King, i think it's an interesting detail to know. On the other hand I like Carlie's theory about Kite turning into an android. Just imagine Kite turning into this universe's Genos shooting rockets and flamethrower onto the ants. That would be dope.
