I'm not sure what One Pace is like in the earlier episodes because I found no problems with the pacing in the earlier arcs. However it did noticeably slow down around episode 500-600 (you'll know when) which is when I started watching One Pace which was a nice change for me.

I've watched 900 episodes and have read through the manga 3 times, once you catch up you'll be saying you wish it was longer lol. and 3 favorite character of mine are Brook, Yamato, and Noland. (btw love the reactions keep up the great work)

2024-03-04 18:03:04 +0000 UTChi !! ange mentioned starting the anime soon and perhaps choosing to watch one pace and i know a lot of people do suggest watching it to cut down on a lot of time but personally (and i know many others agree) i don't suggest watching it as it's a bit awkward due to the captions and cuts,, and sometimes small bits/details are left out. one pace does follow the manga timeline more but it's also just like speed running through the show so overall if you really wanna fully enjoy one piece in its entirety i'd suggest sticking to the og but in the end it's up to you !! super glad and excited to hear you'll be starting it though :)
