Originally in mythology Chimaera has tongue of a snake, head of a lion and body of a goat (and then some later representations give them wings and whatnot)

2024-03-01 22:06:38 +0000 UTCKite hates killing more than anything. in old version this is well polished out in episode 1 but in new version barely anything about kite is well translated. He also hated the fact he had to kill an ant to defend killua and gon during their introduction. His slot weapons are powerful because of how much he hates killing. Then the aspect of which weapon he gets being completely random and restriction that force him to use the weapon to kill before releasing it are both conditions and restrictions that power up the lethality of said weapons. I also personally think that all 9 weapons are difficult to use and Kite hates them which is what makes them that more powerful. as for this specific episode, if you see the weapon it is much longer in the back than in front so balance of the weapon is ridiculous. Fact that kite does it so easily is acolade to his ability, not his weapon. Also that weapon is long ranged and i assume he was hoping for something more fitting the close combat he was engaged in, especially one indoors.

2024-03-01 22:04:47 +0000 UTCLove team fights too. My favorite anime for team fights is probably Black Clover. For all its faults, it has some of the best ones I've ever seen where everyone (not just the MC) contributes. HxH isn't particularly known for it but I do recall some good ones.
