2024-02-09 14:09:17 +0000 UTCThe story about Kenma's blond hair is actually in the audio drama He always went to the volleyball clubroom early and played games in the dark, and when other players went for practice they'd get jump scared cause there was Kenma sitting in a dark corner with his dark hair in his face looking like a ghost (specifically the girl from the Ring). He didn't want to cut it (cause blocking out his vision was good for his introvert anxiety) so he dyed it blond so it's not dark and scary

We were oh so wrong cuz every Haikyuu episode we were about to go into cardiac arrest. I cannot for the life of me exaggerate how fucking hype these next few episodes are gonna be. Finishing season 4 is what’s made me pick up the manga and finish it. I absolutely cannot wait to experience those emotions again with you two🥳🥳

It was because Miya Atsumu lost his serve turn and Nishinoya lost his opportunity to get used to Atsumu's jump floater serves and would have to wait for one whole rotation of the opposing team to get back to Atsumu's serves again. That's what it seemed like to me :p

It was an extra chapter in the manga that didn't make it into the anime, so they made that audioplay instead. It's with the actual voice actors fron the anime. 2024-02-07 18:27:37 +0000 UTCi think its narrative genius to switch the POV from karasuno to nekoma when it did cause i dont think there is any way to come back to karasuno match after that epic tanaka moment without feeling like some level of lack cluster. Switching from epic hype moment to wholesome side story before going back to important second half of karasuno match is brilliant way in my opinion to calm the emotions down withouht losing the quality of narrative It worked in season 3 because it feels in tsukki's nature to not make big deal about it. Tsukki saying "its just one point" is a good way to keep the emotions and hype of his moment but also move on from it and get back into match. That wouldnt work for tanaka cause of his bombastic nature so in my opinion any continuation of karasuno match in next episode would feel lack cluster or unnatural if they try to just gloss over tanaka's moment and go back into it. Realistically yes obviously you dont have time to celebrate such huge moment in match cause they all need to get into that "lets score next point" in order to win, but finding a way to have that portrayed in anime WITHOUT sacrificing the quality of hype moments is one amongst the plethora of reasons why haikyuu! is my number 1 favorite anime of all times
