the blocker hinata was thinking was Matsu, he did that move when he played against Aoba Jousai, where he went for the block to cover the cross and forced hinata to go for the line, and the libero was waiting in the line to receive it (just like noya did in this episode). Btw Tsuki also did this against Shiratorizawa the entire match, except in the final point where he asked the team to cover the Line to catch Ushiwaka off guard.

2024-02-11 21:51:47 +0000 UTCUhmm, I agree that the animation is, sometimes kinda appalling and often times funny because of how ridiculous it is. But we should also understand that this was produced during the pandemic. The animators tried their best, I guess, so kudos to them still.

2024-02-04 23:15:43 +0000 UTCSo Yamaguchi's 'coach' is called Shimada, you almost got it. The guy Hinata was thinking of is Matsukawa, he looks a bit like Kindaichi because of the hair color but his eyes are more tired and he is always with Hanamaki (the dude with pinkish, salmon color hair).
