to give you example, his angle is that of "proxy". like, he is not attracted to them cause they are kids, he is attracted to them for different reasons and they just happen to be the kids so he is not pedophile, he just looks like one by proxy. like how you can get lung cancer because you live with smokers and spend lot of time in smoking enviroment but never smoke yourself. you got "smokers lungs" by proxy.

That is why Hisoka only knew some members' abilities (and also because he was the newest member). Genthru is in a disadvantaged state since someone survived his bomb and told the others about his ability.

Hisoka didn't use Texture Surprise in his fight with Gon, and when he removed his fake spider tattoo after the hostage exchange at the end of the Yorknew Arc, they were already up in the airship and there was no scene of them seeing Hisoka remove it I believe. There's only one time that they could have known a bit about Texture Surprise. It was when Wing was showing them the footage of Hisoka's fight with Kastro. They were mainly focused on Bungee Gum though, and Hisoka only used it on the cloth to make it appear as if his right arm had been restored in perfect condition. I think even if Wing thought that was odd, he couldn't possibly know the extent of what Texture Surprise can do especially with how we've seen Hisoka use it with changing letters and stuff.

Hisoka used texture surprise secretly when changing his fortune in York New so it's likely that no one other than Hisoka is truly able to understand how it works.
