2024-02-01 23:02:14 +0000 UTCI’m glad MVP went to a 3rd year. I think the overall theme of the episode was growth in the 3rd years from the perspective of old captain on the stands. I personally would have snipped that still of those 3 and made them all mvp this episode! 🔥

Even when the episodes switch pov to show how the opponents view Karasuno, it doesn't seem to hit just how terrifying they can be until moments like that. When we're on Karasuno's side, we hype them up, we know they're amazing, but we rarely feel the fear of going against them. Moments like Himekawa's realization sends that spike of "holy shit these guys are GOOD good," like "they-beat-the-best-school-in-their-prefecture-fair-and-square-good" and I love it so much!!
