Through your discussion at the end you really come close to the nen exorcistβs function in the story - I have never seen anyone break it down so well and connect it with Chrolloβs condition. I myself didnβt until later into the show π

First, we saw Razor exploding the Troupe's boat with a nen ball (an emitter technique), and then almost right after, we have Gon training to have something similar. Later on, we get someone who was able to remove Nanami's nen from his body while the Troupe and Hisoka are looking for someone who can do just that to Kurapika's nen inside Chrollo's body.

(Killua, Hisoka, Machi) Emitter = Throw Nen (Silva, Franklin, Razor) Conjurer = Creates Objects (Kurapika, Korutopi, Shizuku) Manipulator = Controls (Illumi, Shalnark, Kiss Girl) Specialist = Just different. (Chrollo, Kurapika, Pakunoda, Neon)

Hatsu = Actually using the Aura resulting to different Nen abilities. Side Usage: Gyo = Aura into Eyes In = Conceal Nen Abilities. (Need Gyo to see it) En = Spread Aura in Circle around you. Shu = Surround Aura into Objects like shovel or swords. Ko = Concentrate on certain parts of body to attack. (Gon & Uvoβs super punch) Ken = Aura for defense. Ryo = Flow, βKoβ + βKenβ. Percentages on how much Aura to distribute.
