It's fine if you anglicize a name that is being borrowed from Western traditions by the Japanese language, after all. If a character in the show had a name that was spelled "Johnny" but the characters in the show said it in their Japanese broken-English type way, you would say it the right way as opposed to the characters' way, right? This is like that. Great job tying the ice and snow to Emilia's magic. Why else would it randomly start snowing specifically around Emilia's home, right? I wonder who else we've seen use ice magic in the past... Also, it's really funny how Carlie comes up with the "a witch is hiding in Subaru's shadow and she's Pride" theory, and then from that point on that's the frame of reference for the discussion. It's like the "Dragon and Witch of Envy are in cahoots" thing all over again lol. NOT dogging on the theory, though. It makes sense.

Here's a bit more alignment tips: Subaru is presumably blessed/cursed by the witch of Envy, This manifest in his ability to travel back in time to a reset point when he dies. (Return By Death). So every time he uses this ability, the Witch Of Envy's Scent seems to linger stronger on him for a short amount of time. The more often and frequent he does this, the stronger the scent becomes. Think of it as someone spraying you with their perfume whenever you get out of their car. You'd smell like them for a few hours until the smell wore off again. Ps: This scent seems to attract MA-Beast, which seem to literally hate and want to destroy the Witch and they will forgo their senses and chase after the scent when they find it. As seen in the forest earlier with the canine things. RAM [Rah] + [AM] (who btw is best girl Barusa!!) is like Dodge RAM or that stuff that holds memory in your computer. Don't get Rammed by a Ram using a laptop with low Ram. Ez name to pronounce and you guys do it well, have confidence! REM - [Reh] + [EM] - say it out loud and exaggerate the sounds until you can consistently produce them. Or just add an R to the rapper Eminem. ~~~~ Now a reaction to your reaction: "Everyone is trying to mend things etc why do they care so much". My thoughts is that they don't. I don't think all of their intentions are "Subaru and Emilia should fix their thing" I think the guards are trying to smooth things over amongst the guards, I think Crush and Felix are more trying to get Subaru to stop being so stupidly arrogant/selfish and I think Reinhard is being the absolute chad that he is. Wilhelm probably pities Subaru's weakness so he tried to help him get stronger. But as you said Subaru was never really trying to get stronger, just vent. But if they ARE doing what you suggest, I think it's more to do with them witnessing his desperation to have her accepted at the capital. Regardless of the end result, that kind of passion is hard to ignore and addictive to get caught up in.
