And I've done nothing here but provide honest arguments towards why Emilia is a horrible person. Subaru has nearly died fully for her 3 times in total, within those 3 times he's faced death without needing to ask about it because risking ones life for another is a good action regardless of what reason. You may think a person risking themselves to save another is a bad thing unles you get affirmative consent for them to get help in the first place, but that doesn't matter to the point. The fact of the matter is that NOTHING Subaru could do is EVER going to be enough for Emilia to "trust" him as she currently is. She kept Subaru at arms length, she didn't explain things to him and she then didn't listen to him or try and understand him. and then blamed him for the situation that would've been solved with. "I worry about the people hurting you when they say things negatively about me, let me do this and I will then bring you in on everything as I value your action and company as you are important to me." But she didn't, she said "give me a reason to trust you" after he had nearly died repeatedly for her in her view of the world, he had nearly died for her, for Felt, For Rom, for Rem, for Ram, for Petra, for Cain, Meina, Mild, Lucas, Dine and Myne and even with all that, he's told it's not enough. That is easy to see that it'll NEVER be enough, because Emilia doesn't trust anyone. (and for the fact that she's a liar too, but I won't mention what as you'll sperg out and scream spoiler again but you should know what I mean Localiser) And she owns 50% equal responsibility for everything that happened in episode 12 and 13. While you will scream the only one at fault is the guy who has repeatedly shown that he's willing to be injured and hurt for other people because of how he sees himself as a person. It's clear what your view on this is and why you'll argue the way you argue, you won't admit a single thing I've said here is correct because to do so admits you're not 100% right all the freaking time. Which sums up why Localisers are what they are.

Just that Will knows the eyes of one who has seen death. - Rem IS adorable and did indeed give Subaru an Out. This didn’t need to be said but I mean SHE SO CUTE!!! - Felt has previously stated that the only family she has is Old Man Rom. Which Makes it very unlikely that Priscilla (Entitled Vibe) is her sister. - In the state that you guys keep using it, there is no “prophecy”. There is a Royal Prophecy that dictates how the next leader will be chosen from 5 potential candidates / dragon priestesses. The leader has to form a contract with the Dragon in order to lead. Long story short, Subaru or anyone else isn’t mentioned in said instructions. - Ferris / Felix is not just a very proficient water/healing mage. He is the best in the Country. - Shortly after hearing about the Red and Blue Orge in episode 5 / 6, Subaru ask Betty about the Witch. Betty replied: “In this world when one says the word "witch" they're really just referring to one person in particular. The WITCH OF ENVY, SETELLA. Long ago, she devoured the SIX WITCHES who bore the names of the DEADLY SINS and drained half the world dry. She's pretty much the worst of the worst. The story goes that she was starved for love. It's said that she doesn't understand human language. It's also been said that her body never withers from age, weakens from sickness, or dies. And although she was sealed by the powers of a dragon, a hero, and a sage, they were still never able to destroy her flesh.” This means that The Dragon was one of those who fought against the witch. Not the witch's partner. this also means that there were once at least 7 witches, 6 who bore the name of deadly sins, and 1 envy who ate the others. Sorry this took awhile guys but I was down bad with like Covid + RSV. Not fun stuff.

I get WHY she's saying it and please, lets no spoiler this for Carlie and Ange but...this start has nearly everyone blame Subaru alone for how it happened, but Emilia shares the equal amount of blame for it. Again, I get why she did it, but...those words and her knee-jerk reaction to things soured me to her quite a bit as I know what he's been through for her and his mindset going forwards is. The end result of how Subaru realises his mistake IS correct, but Emilia doesn't. That's a problem for me. Don't like it - at all.
