Hope you find it useful. In the OVAs, is about the Tokyo Prefecture which is so BIG that they get to have 2 representatives for the Spring Tournament (1st place & Runner Up), but this year Spring Tournament is held in Tokyo which since they are the Host City of the tournament, they get to have an additional representative (is decided by a decisive match between 3rd & 4th place)

I think watching reactions, especially from other pro or semi-pro volleyball players made me appreciate other players like Noya and Tsukki. I love seeing how these players think and strategize for every obstacle. {And thanks for Oikawa for narrating what's happening...he did a better job than those local newscasters did lol} Top 3: 1) Tsukki 2) Kageyama 3) Noya Bonus: any time Bokuto is on the screen, I'm smiling. He's just an instant mood lifter. Can't wait for the OVAs.

2023-12-23 22:20:41 +0000 UTCAbout what Ushijima said to Hinata and Kageyama after the match—“I’ll defeat you next time.” There are no more tournaments in the school year, and as a member of the U-19 pre-Olympic team Ushijima is going straight to the professional leagues after this. To imply a “next time” is in itself a huge show of respect. Kageyama is a bit of a given, but Ushijima is telling Shoyo From The Concrete that he has full faith in him to go pro and face him again on the highest stage their sport offers. That’s huge.

2023-12-23 03:49:11 +0000 UTCI think that Tsuki is MVP of this episode to actually. 1 all the one-touch to keep the ball in play 2. Kageyama’s idea of switching was him building on Tsuki’s idea. So I think that the defensive side of the match point was all tsuki’s plan. Combine with the pain that he is overcoming to play I think he is MVP

2023-12-23 00:37:14 +0000 UTCI work as an animator IRL, so it made my day when Ange pointed out the awesome camera move at the end of the match! It's soooo hard to do that sort of shot in 2D with THAT many characters, all in dynamic poses. It's beyond impressive! I can't believe how hard the studio went on the animation this season. Season 4 definitely takes a dip when it comes to that, but I know I have a harder time than most with looking past animation differences because of my job. They also changed up a lot of the character designs and overall look of the show to align more closely with the manga art, which bothers me from a consistency standpoint. However, be assured that the story is still there, and the emotional impact is still there, which are the most important things.

2023-12-22 20:21:21 +0000 UTCThrough the end of season three my top 3 characters: 1. Oikawa 2. Noya 3. Kageyama MVP of the match gotta be Tsuki, but strong shouts to Noya and Kageyama. Noya obviously incredible the entire match, but Kags ran the offense well all match, and had nerves of steel down the stretch (dump on match point, and insane vision to switch with Hinata to dig that last ball). The OVA’s are fire! To get to follow other teams is a treat, and it expands on some players really well. Enjoy 💜

I know everything needs to be seen serious but... the moment I saw Tsukki without his glasses, I simp on him even harder 🤣 that was a topnotch reaction, you two. I love how invested you are in this anime ❤ My MVP in this episode for this episode is Kageyama. That foresight was so dang cool, like, how much braincell did he burn in that moment thinking Ushiwaka would go for a cross if he got a three-man block? I mean, it was not really a random thought of him coz Tsukki did say they are going for a three-man block. It's just his initiation to move to Hinata's place in case Ushiwaka did some shenanigans of some sort. And in that last synchronize attack? He was spot on. Some setters would probably be thinking in that millisecond who to set the ball to coz they were all blended in together but he fixed his mind to give it to Hinata. (My overall MVP is Tsukki tho) My top 3 in this season will be Tsukki, Noya and Daichi (yep, all in our defense). Everyone gave their all, but these three gave the extra for me. Shiratorizawa is a hard team to defend at and they really gave their hardest (same with everyone but they're my top 3). Also I don't want to spoil you for next season, just wanna warn you that there will be some problems with animation and artstyle in season 4 coz they were released during the covid 19 pandemic. The artstyle tries to stick to the manga so it will be a bit different.

2023-12-22 19:20:35 +0000 UTCConclusion was epic, loved your reaction!! Tsukki is the MVP of the match for me. Top 3 by the end of season 3 for me are 1. Oikawa 2. Daichi 3. I think I still like Bokuto as my third. But Tsukki climbed a lot of ranks with this season. In this episode, the thing that I absolutely love is hinata's comment to Ushiwaka at the end, he just won the match, very high intensity match, emotions are all over the place but he still had the mindset to recognize that he was nowhere near Ushiwaka's level and promises him that he will definitely stand at the same level as him. I like that a lot.
