It ties back to what he said previously that no one is scarier than Oikawa for him. Also I feel like Kageyama's motto is "if you can't join them, beat them," lol! He's been beating the people and teams who rejected him or pushed him away. He wanted to join karasuno but daichi rejected him, so he beat daichi's team. He wanted to join shiratorizawa but he was rejected so he beat them in the prefecture finals. I guess oikawa rejecting him applies too. I also think he's the mvp of episode 10.

All of them are so cute outside the court because they are stupidly funny. 😂💚 Season 4 is also another fan favorite so I am excited! Fun fact: In one of the manga panels, Oikawa was seen trying to flirt with Karasuno’s manager but got ignored. Tsukishima was seen recording the whole thing so he can blackmail Oikawa the next time he’s targeted by one of his powerful serves. Oikawa was begging Tsukki to not use it against him. 😭

This season was everything, I've watched it a few times and yet I was still super hyped when re-watching it with you guys. That's how top notch your reactions were haha! Btw I think you might have missed it but Kageyama got invited to the All Japan Youth Training Camp so yes it is for training (not really a spoiler since Takeda already mentioned it). Agreed with Tsukki for match MVP and Noya and Kageyama for ep9 and ep10 mvps respectively. Kageyama pulling that switch with Hinata was brilliant since it was purely on prediction, not even Tsukki thought that Ushijima would hit a cross at the last minute but Kageyama thought of that possibility and was there to receive it. Brilliant play! And now we're onto my Season 4!! It's my favourite season of this series cos it introduces two of my favourite rivals for KageHIna! Season 4 is paced a bit different but I hope you guys will enjoy it just as much as you did S3. LFG!!!

Kageyama, I also do not disagree as an MVP, he gave alot to the team as a setter and his knowledge about the whole court and possible counter attacks is phenomenal. That switch was insane for him to figure out contingency plan if the Ushimija did not go for a straight.

He absorbed everything Kuro and Bokuto taught him in S2 and used all of it against Shiratorizawa. But, ofc, the win didn't happen only because of Tsukishima, it was because all of the players (literally every single one) pulled through with some sort of clutch play. We can't not talk about 'Noya's insane save AND receive! One of my favorite moments in the whole show. While I did say S3 was my favorite season, S4 is still very much a great season and has a lot of great moments and character development that you guys will love to see. Can't wait to get into it with you guys after the OVA's

We saw early on that Tsukki was completely convinced that he'll lose and doesn't think he has any chance of stopping Ushiwaka. He was't realistically trying that hard. It's not until he sees how intense Noya was and sees him pull through and get the ball up on the third try that he really starts putting in the work

2023-12-19 19:36:28 +0000 UTCI agree with Kageyama MVP, not only for seeing the possible flaw in Tsukishima's plan to close the strait and preemptively positioning himself on the cross's target to prevent the worst case scenario, but he also realized Hinata was trying to join in the synchronized attack for the first time at the climax of the match as the other 5 players charged in for ready to spike, and he still had the nerve to toss to the one who was trying something for the first time, having two amazing reliable spikers on the left (Asahi and Tanaka). He deserves to be on the National team for sure.

S3 and S4 are the best seasons of haikyuu in my opinion. S3 has the best match up to that point in a single, 10 episode season, with each episode being incredible, and s4 has some of the most incredible story beats and payoffs that resonated with me so much, and also has the best rival team our boys will meet yet IMO. This show consistently gets better, and imo the upcoming season's final episodes are among my favourite episodes in the entire series. I can't wait for you guys to watch them!! The little shorts of the rival teams never fail to bring tears to my eyes - all the characters are just so damn well-written. For the OVAs (must watch!!), just a few notes to hopefully deter any confusions (and build some hype): Because their Tokyo region is so large with so many teams, the top 3 teams actually get to go to nationals - how they place in this qualifier determines how they're seeded, as well. And the team Itachiyama was briefly mentioned before, too; during the training arc, Kuroo mentions them as a champion team with a top-tier ace! This is when they're talking about how there are other powerhouses comparable to/better than Ushijima who'll be at nationals. Season 4 has some INCREDIBLE growth and payoff and even more character depth for the ones we love, as well as new amazing characters (so basically, more of the usual awesomeness) - I can't WAIT for the reactions!!

2023-12-19 17:51:00 +0000 UTCFor me personally the MVP of the match is between Tsuki and Kageyama. Tsuki basically arranged and directed all of the blocking for most of the match, while Kageyama not only did his job as setter near perfectly but he also filled a lot of the gaps that the team had. Kageyama overall is just the best player on the team I think, so it makes sense that he got drafted for the National Youth training thing. I'd probably give match MVP to Kageyama, with Tsuki #2, and then Hinata or Nishinoya on #3.

2023-12-19 17:38:02 +0000 UTCgod i loved your reactions! season 3 is absolutely amazing, never fails to deliver. i wanted to mention the animation in season 4, it has a huge style change which happened to make it more accurate to the manga style bc the author changced his style up. anyway, a lot of season 4’s animation is messy and low quality, but that was due to covid which caused a lot of issues in the studio, so the animation was a bit upsetting, but dont get me wrong, season 4 is still absolutely amazing!! if u ignore the animation issues you’ll definitely love the season still, its probably my favourite! i cant wait for you guys to start it!

Also, Ushiwaka coming up to them to tell them: "I'll beat you next time" is a huge compliment. Remember that Ushiwaka is a third year, he's going to graduate so for him to tell them that means that he expects Hinata and Kageyama to also go pro in the future.

The characters had the smooth looking from s1-3 but in the OVAs and s4 they look more similar to how they are drawn in the manga. and some parts of s4 animation will have a slight low quality due to the production during the covid times BUT I ASSURE YOU S4 IS STILL AS ENJOYABLE AS THE PREV SEASONS. as far as i am concerned, i love the direction of the characters and the plot in s4 more than the rest. Some people will complain about shiat on the animation and you will notice it since we have notify you in advance. As for me, when I first watched s4, i didnt even realized those changes in drawings and animations at all and I thoroughly enjoyed it as much as the prev seasons. Dont let those negative cmmts bring your hype down. s4 is still great and hyped. and as Sarah pavan and coach donny said, the plays in s4 are more higher level vb plays. That's all i wanted to say ANYWAY make sure to watch the two ovas because it's about the tokyo preliminaries
