I do think Nodame Cantabile is a far better story and drama centered around music students however... more grounded and mature. It's a favourite of mine, for sure. It was very very big back in the day, spawning successful live-action adaptations as well. Maybe one day you'll see it as well, maybe not. --- I think as long as the music shown is European Classical music, it should be good on copyright infringement,. Should be public domain. The non-Classical music pieces though is where things may get dicey.

2023-12-18 11:11:18 +0000 UTCfinally we go into this show, im so hyped YESSS and also like always :D DAY 5 OF ASKING Carlie & Ange to watch K-On! watch K-On! please! it is similar to Bocchi the Rock and has also inspired me to play the guitar, similar to YLIA that has inspired me to play Piano. you will definetely love it, its very wholesome and has a bit more of episodes despite the genre (36 EP) , i dont care if it comes after YLIA or not (maybe give MIA watcher the slot so i dont get hated on) but K-On is a must watch after definetely loving Bocchi the Rock. Ange in particular will absolutely love K-On i bet my shorts on that. and also hoping you have a great day, p.s like always if you want me to stop commenting this, just say so please, dont want to be annoying to you, so if its annoying just say so . much love from germany :DD

Funny enough, maybe a little too poetic considering they're all 14 y/o teens lol. But, I do love the contrast between the colorful and monotone scenes that show Kousei's internal struggles. This show has very very accurate animations on the piano and violin playing. Very impressive stuff from A-1. You hardly see that level of detail in other music genre shows; Bocchi is an exception. Ange slaying the OP covers per usual. I'm running out of things to say since they're always so good 😅 VA facts: This show has VA's that share the same roles as these AOT/SxF characters: Falco, Gabi, Marco, Eren and Yor (comes in later)

I love you so much for doing this. You'll really like it I think, especially since you appreciate music too. This show is famous for having some of the most accurate depictions of the violin and piano playing basically in all of animation. And second is saying Kousei should have been a poet, because this show is also the poster child of "14 year olds talk like they're 30" trope. But also, the writing is SO good that who actually cares.

Brings back a lot of emotions, good and bad, and i understand Kousei here : you want to see it, remember it and feel it again, but you also don't want to see it, remember it, and FEEL IT again, because it has this lingering happy and sad feel to it, because of the memories i associated with it. And I'm hoping that rewatching with you guys can get me to reappreciate this show for what it is and let go of those past memories that are bundled with it too :)

2023-12-17 17:55:18 +0000 UTCThe VA of the MC (Kousei) is the same VA as Tanjiro. And like Tanjiro, he seems to have a hard head. So don't worry too much about the constant head injuries he gets throughout the show. Also, the brunette female friend (Tsubaki) is the same VA as Gabi from AoT
