2023-12-12 05:27:11 +0000 UTCIt's very fast in the anime but apparently the novels spend a couple more frames on that whole rem torture scene (ffrom what i read in the comments here), and she was at it for hours, torturing Subaru and then healing him and repeating so he spills his guts. So it feeds into the fact that Subaru eventually died that loop right? But rem wouldn't let him die and so then apparently ram showed up and killed Subaru out of mercy. That's also why when he wakes up that next morning he's not just in panic about rem in front of his bed but ram too for a sec. But yeah I think it's the fact that I was told about that novel scene that makes it easier to see the wind magic Easter egg. I missed it on the first few times too. But my attack on Titan obsession with detail had me on high alert this year when I rewatches it all again last week in preparation for C&A reactions, knowing knowledge of seasons 1 and 2 already

2023-12-11 13:24:38 +0000 UTCBTW ANGE. u might wanna double check but Subaru died of the curse ONLY in the first loop (he woke up dead, no bandaids), SECOND loop he was cursed AND killed him (presumably rem). Then third loop Rem attacked him, tortured him and someone else kileld him (RAM if you pay attention that his death was made by a wind magic which is what Ram used on subaru when she found out Rem died in 4th loop), and 4th loop he hid in the library with beatrice so Rem died when she went to the village ALONE. It's safe to assume at this point that Rem isn't the person who cursed subaru, it was a third party, she was though th eone who attacked him with the metal ball ya'll thought was an ikea chair edit: 31:15 you corrected yourself that it wasn't REM that cursed him. I wont add more to whether you're right about the witch cursing him or not, or the dog, or again, the sneaky IKEA chair.

Anyone here know why Streamable wouldnt play audio? i've seen some google searches about an old bug before but none of the fixes worked. Figured i'd ask in case anyone got into this bug from fellow full-length watchers Edit 2: Figured it out! it was the SoundFixer extension on google chrome store app. Uninstalled it and works great... those dang extensions, always get you when you least expect it :D

I don't mind that much as I've seen this show in particular, but for others it's very annoying. At this point it's the same as the youtube videos.

Calling the grandma who swiped Subaru's ass a "witch" and saying she looks like a curse was taking it too far Ange 😂 Imagine she really was the culprit, and Subaru just has curse energy emanating from his cheeks 👀 If Ange hates seeing dogs being massacred in a show (I do too, but only good dogs), he would hate certain scenes in JoJo 😬, which we will 100% watch in the future. It's inevitable. Rewatching this show with you guys reminded me just how many cliff hangers there are. Watching this every week while it was still airing was a headache and a half...

She thought maybe if she introduced herself as satella that would make subaru get scared and go away

That’s what the shattering scene tries to convey This is also the point in the novels where Subaru finds out he truly loves Emilia. “When he thought of her, his body was afflicted by the hot pangs of that troublesome illness known as love. … —Even if Subaru Natsuki died again and again, that love would live on.”

2023-12-09 16:25:47 +0000 UTCFor episode 8 and the "confession" of how much pain Subaru's in, it's vague enough that no one "knows" anything is going on, that's why he can tell people, he didn't mention the Witch, his power or anything else just a vague sense of dread and loss. And if you check back on episode 3, Subaru goes to visit Beako before bed and she notices something and says how it's "none of her business anyway." That was her noticing the Curse being on Subaru - not active yet - but not caring.
