Either way, fun fact: Zushi's fight against that fat guy was a parody of Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken); when Ken fights a minor villain named Heart (he looks exactly like Zushi's opponent, no, dude, seriously; EXACTLY), he throws 100 punches to spread out the fat so he can hit a pressure point to kill him. Exact same fight, and Zushi even looks a lot like Kenshiro.

Easily the biggest asshole in this channel. For the record I read your comment and didn't see anything wrong with what you said, and I've consumed HxH 99, 2011, as well as the manga.

Btw Carlie made a very good observation in episode 28 but I'm not gonna say what it is though it's gonna be kinda confirmed soon. Also yes, welcome to Hunter X Hunter's power system. Imo the best power system in shounen as it's really well polished and though it has a lot of depth, it can be quite easy to understand.

Just to point out the reason why during the exam which criminals have high life sentences is because a human can live long if their "Ten" is too strong' "Ten" can restrict the effects of aging! Also, theres a thing in the manga which is a spoiler that can extend people life for centuries - so i can't explain this one. Also' all of the four is important on thier own rights but when they start EXPLAINING about "HATSU" please write it down (there's more to it, trust me) and don't feel bad if you pause write. We love hearing your thoughts on why you pause it, just don't pause during fight scenes lol. They don't mention and explain the whole power system over and over. This is it!

2023-11-19 17:37:33 +0000 UTCA lot of people mentioned that in the manga, Gon opened the testing gate by himself, and episode 27 is why. In the anime, it seems a little strange that Gon has grown so strong when he doesn't done very much, whereas in fact, Gon's strength has increased a lot - enough to open 2 tonne doors by himself. It seems like Hisoka was being a dick, but he probably saved the boys' lives. They were totally unprepared for proper Nen, as Wing demonstrated. Looking forward to you trying to cover the ending! If it doesn't work, then it doesn't, but good to give it a go. You specialise in instrumentals, but the vocalist for the ED here is epic (as is the one for the OP).

2023-11-18 01:03:40 +0000 UTCSo allow me to connect some dots you guys missed. Wing realized that when they were going to the 200th floor, they'd face NEN trouble. They would be facing opponents who also use weapons and Nen as stated. Weapons are dangerous, but NEN is even more so, a little bit of nen as Wing showed, crushed the wall in like an 8foot span. And that was wing "SLOWLY displaying how it works". In the words of Wing: "The effects on your body unprotected would be crushing your bones". So once at the 200th floor, Hisoka test them by projecting his Nen, his "Killing Intent" so to speak. The kids tried to push on but were warned by WING that if they continued they'd be harmed. Wing earlier states that Nen Projection can be used to kill those who do not guard against it, as in the AURA itself can simply kill you. This is why he doesn't teach it to everyone. Notice that the receptionist seems just fine amidst ALL of this. We can assume she is a Nen User herself and her simple covering of Nen over her body (Ten) protects her from Hisoka's killing intent (Nen). TL:DR: Hisoka is keeping the kids back until they can protect against Nen so they dont end up broken and bones crushed by facing an opponent who uses Nen when they dont even know how to defend against Nen. He does this because he doesn't want them to break yet. He wants them to grow stronger. The kids literally aren't ready to be on that floor just yet. They would die.

2023-11-18 00:01:44 +0000 UTCIf they go into 200th floor they die because they dont understand nen or any of the sub parts of nen (ten, zetsu, ren and hatsu), they have to learn how to counter hisokas aura with the basics of Nen or they have no fighting chance at all because they cant even reach someone who uses it, everyone in the 200+ knows nen and principles. There is even more to Nen which you will find out in the next episodes, this is just the start of how it all works.

2023-11-17 20:41:43 +0000 UTCThis is where it begins as others said. Nen is the best power system in any manga / anime. It is very complex and you wont understand its full extent immediately, but remember that : from now on, its not a matter of strenght anymore. Its a matter of understanding Nen.
