I don't think you'll need the notebook, but starting episode 30 my suggestion is to not skip the opening scene where the narrator explains the four basic principle of the power system. That way you'll really get the basics down and won't easily forget it.

His VA actually plays a character in SxF; the one who is currently working with Yor as a bodyguard (old middle-part guy with glasses). Ange always looking for an opportunity to shout Kurapika's name. Also, looking forward to see the notebook again. Lot of power dynamics/levels to understand, so the notes will come in handy.
