idk why you guys assume Geto brainwashed the girls, I mean he basically adopted them and then raised them. Seems about right that they'd love their father and try to kill the thing that had taken over his body

DandyZombie

Yeah, streamable won’t rotate if you open it in the Patreon app for some reason. You have to open it in the browser, and maintain “eye contact” with the phone because it doesn’t keep the screen on for some reason like other videos.

AJ

Nah it is a binding vow because if he breaks it (killing or harming anyone while he has control), it’ll have repercussions. Sukuna even said it himself.

AJ

@DSANT21 I could be wrong but I think Maki hated that tool because it was difficult to use and it belonged to Geto (who she hates) before she used it

Bibi

I thought it was not a Binding Vow just a normal Yuji letting him out for a few minute thing.

Lapisstories

Honestly it’s been a while since I’ve seen the flashbacks but iirc that wasn’t Naobito, that was Makis parents

LuciusArtoriusCastus

Sukuna was originally a sorcerer but now that his soul is split in the fingers he’s more of a curse

LuciusArtoriusCastus

He is a cursed spirit but Jogo likely believed Sukuna's goals would aline with his. It makes sense why he'd assume so but he thought wrong apparently.

Noirium

You guys might've missed it but while the narrator was talking about toji she said like his fangs are constantly looking for the strongest or something of that. Which I'm guessing means he's currently on auto pilot just going after whoever is the strongest in the area. Which could be why he pushed out megumi but it's also possible that part of toji's soul recognizes that it's his son. Also I feel like y'all might be giving too much credit to nanami lol. We know he's a boss but idk. In that scene where the elder zenin was trying to run towards jogo with his technique, he actually froze for a second. You can hear the glass shatter right as he gets attack so he clearly tried to do something that was either humanly impossible or try to change his frame mid technique and we see how that worked for him lol. At the least nanami could be faintly alive but I guess we'll see.

Dune

yeah from what i see a lot of reactors have a bad habit of discussing a question right as the explanation is being said lol

Dune

Jogo showed up after Toji went for Megumi, had he seen Jogo there, he probably would’ve fought him instead but it’s also convenient for the plot that Megumi doesn’t burn to a crisp so they had to get him out of there somehow. In any case, megumis CT is an extremely powerful one so it makes sense for Toji to go after him.

LuciusArtoriusCastus

Oh so that WAS Naobito in Maki's flashbacks? I thought it was a different Zen'in asshole lol.

The Great Santini

Ange certainly knows how to take the tension out of the room...

The Great Santini

They won’t mention it in the anime because it wasn’t even in the manga, but Gege mentioned in an interview (or the fanbook I don’t remember) how Toji got that scar and it wasn’t Naobito. If you’ve read the manga and would like to know I can tell you. Anyways, Naobito is actually one of the nicer zenins, the rest are straight up dickheads

LuciusArtoriusCastus

That's weird I thought Maki hated that tool BECAUSE it had so much cursed energy. So she just sensed the "bad vibes" coming from it?

The Great Santini

LOL they're rookie subtitle readers. They have to get faster, stronger, more powerful. Like Toji.

The Great Santini

Well damn I didn't even think about Megumi being the strongest in that scenario. But what about when Jogo showed up? Certainly Jogo was stronger than Megumi... right?

The Great Santini

Is Sukuna even a cursed spirit himself? I know he was an all-powerful sorcerer in his day. I'm just a little conflicted about why Jogo thinks Sukuna would create a world for cursed-spirits to flourish? Doesn't he enjoy having humans as slaves?

The Great Santini

Oh cool. Shibuya arc has finally started in earnest.

Nuclear Boarhead

Oh yeah that makes sense... could honestly also be a cool anime thingy lol

Tristan Scholtens

I think curses and curse users can tell if someone is completely dead based on cursed energy, but I'm not completely certain.

JadonTheEternal

I personally thought that when Jogo was putting the palm of his hand on Naobito's chest was to check for a heartbeat, and when he didn't he counted the kill, makes me wonder if he could immediately tell the others were dead instantly...

Tristan Scholtens

Looks like we went from letting Nanami cook to Nanami getting cooked, big f. As mentioned previously in an earlier episode by Jogo himself, Jogo doesn't care whether he himself lives or dies so long as Sukuna is fully resurrected. Jogo only cares about the future of his fellow cursed spirits, wanting them to replace humans as the new main species in the world, and Sukuna's overwhelming power is the key to that becoming a reality.

Noirium

"He's still hot though"...absolutely hilarious

Dramamean

I see Ange forgot about the OP incident with Junpei 😂

Boli

I have been binging reactions of this episode, nothing broke me as much as "at least Nanami is still hot" and Carlie clear reaction once she realized what was said

RingoStarz

Jjj.

I hate to like Sukuna so much but he has such a kingly presence. In front of him, being alive is the most dangerous thing you can do 😂

V D

I heard that ange the "at least he's still hot" line after nanami got torched 😭

makotheQ60

Ohhhhhhh boyyyyyyyyy

Shaw

The second he went up in flames the only thing I could think about was Carlie’s reaction and it did not disappoint 😂

Daniel Molina

i'll just say that the author has absolutely no mercy with any character lol, the real tragedy is just starting😭 also, fun fact: the book that geto is reading in the flashback with the girls is called "colors of a mother". i find interesting that you perceived their relationship as brainwashing, i never sensed any evil intention in geto with the girls, always saw it as him trying to protect the youth that was taken away from him, just like gojo did by becoming a teacher and raising megumi, just like nanami does by protecting every single student when he's around and his iconic phrase "being a child is not a sin", the scene of "we love you, we love you, we love you but, you're not him" will always be so heart wrenching to me

beannieswife

Here is a reminder of Sukuna's and Yuji's pact: 1. When Sukuna say "enchain", Sukuna will take over Yuji's body for a minute. 2. During this one minute Sukuna can't hurt or kill anyone 3. Yuji will forget about this pact Sukuna could kill those girls because he took control over Yuji's body without using this pact, otherwise he could be punished for that.

Vincent P

And Maki hated that tool the most.

Lapisstories

fun fact: Playful cloud (the weapon Toji used) was one of Toji's weapons he kept in his worm curse. After Toji and Geto died Gojo got hold of all the weapons inside the worm and allowed his students to use it. The reason you see Toji use playful cloud like on one has ever done before is because 1) he was the original owner of the weapon so he is very familiar with its uses 2) playful cloud is the ONLY curse tool that doesn't use curse therefore the power of the tool depends SOLELY on the raw strength of the wielder 😳

Bibi

Jogo's line of thought referring to Mahito's technique, healing, and pact takes us back to when Yuji was willing to give Sukuna everything to turn Junpei back but Sukuna declined and just had a big laugh instead.

Decaf

25:40, you better be careful what you wish for

Pulse rifles suck in pve

Ohhhh boyyy

Danny C

Oh boy

ThaDoubleB

Hell yes. I’ve been dying to see what your guys’ reactions would be for this ep👀👀

Kevin Lin

Lots of wishful thinking as if jjk wasn't just showing its true colors the past few episodes 😂

Night Sterling

The cope for Nanami is funny

Alhoss

This episode is a great reminder that you are watching Jujustu Kaisen

Bungus

Not them asking questions when the answer was being displayed on the subtitles at that exact moment... 😭. That kills me everytime

Izaya

I was coming to say this as well. Geto was very much a father figure to the girls, they were like family. One of the last things Geto asked Gojo before dying was asking if his family was safe. And like you said, they've spent the last decade with Geto so obviously they've adopted his way of thinking, but they also had personal experiences being treated horribly by non-sorcerers. So definitely wouldn't say they've been brainwashed. I also love seeing fanart where Geto and the girls are now reunited in the after life 🥹

poisonivybag

I was so hyped for this reaction but on the other hand...guys, please drop the haikyuu ep 15 😭

LisanAlGareeb

the narrator mentions toji goal when being reincarnated 'Bearing his fangs toward the strongest around' which is why he went for dagon and then megumi

Layla

To clarify some things, not spoilers, Toji went for Megumi because he's the strongest of them all, at least the one with more potential, and Toji is fighting on pure instinct right now. In regarding to the plan that Jogo proposes Sukuna, it is important to remember that Sukuna already has a pact with Yuji, but no one knows about it, so that is why Jogo had the line of thought

Mateo Villa

I agree with Ange. I don’t think they would kill off big characters like that without some sort of special scene or more time to it. To do it instantly to those type of characters would make no sense. Guess we’ll have to see next week.

Nick

the narrator mentions that Toji “bears his fangs towards the strongest” which is why he went for Dagon first. He’s become a mindless murder machine fighting the strongest person he sees. With that in mind coupled with what Sukuna said about Megumi, u can see why Toji went for Megumi right after killing Dagon. Not only were the others around them weakened, but based on what Sukuna was saying in s1, Megumi has an extremely powerful cursed technique. It’s a shame he’s kind of a bum 💀

LuciusArtoriusCastus

I also love your guys end discussion u guys dont know it yet but u guys are hitting some predictions very close to the nail and obviously some not so close

Coils J

Chaos time... All hell will break loose from this point on non stop.

noya22

yeah this ep was crazy. also, i think u guys are taking geto's relationship with the girls the wrong way. it's not one sided. geto genuinely cares for both of them, that's the whole reason why he killed the whole village where they were from. he isn't completely heartless. their relationship is very father-daughters like, i wouldn't say he brainwashed them. it's just a belief system, they grew up with him as their caretaker, so of course they adapted to have his beliefs.

aubrey !!

The video isn’t rotating for me on iPhone. Anyone else?

Valde

Someone hold me and everyone else who saw the episode

Stormageddon Thomason

My jaw was dropped the whole episode. Complete chaos now 😅
