Syncing it up gives the BEST experience since you can watch the whole anime while simultaneously listening to their commentary. They just need to show enough so that it allows you to sync up properly.

I understand the copyright issue but can it be improved maybe at least to extent of haikyuu visibility or better. Syncing it up parallel doesn't give the same experience as one would expect after being a subscriber so would be great if this can be considered

2023-11-03 21:44:30 +0000 UTCI feel like you guys put wayyy too much stock/belief into what Killua's older brother was saying to him. IMO, he was very clearly trying to gaslight him/brainwash him into leaving all of his ACTUAL desires behind (like becoming friends with Gon) and coming "back to the family" to do assassin work. They even tried to illustrate this by the swirling "hypnosis" effect they had going on in Illumi's eyes while he was talking to Killua. That's how I read the scene, at least.

Even when you think you've got characters figured out, it's a 50/50 at best on whether or not they'll do what you expect. ESPECIALLY Gon and Hisoka. The next arc is especially hard to predict, so I'm looking forward to it.

2023-11-03 00:08:37 +0000 UTCthe reason you cant predict hunter is because the character are humans. humans are conflicted, look at hisoka. or even how killua was talking to his brother it looked a like a real lil brother talking to his older brother. anyway like i said they are humans and sometimes humans just want or like things without a reason

2023-11-02 22:22:47 +0000 UTCYa there was a recent interview/article I read a while back when Sui Ishida (Tokyo Ghoul write), interviewed his hero (Togashi) and asked about his writing style and how far ahead does he plan and Togashi say he doesn't plan ahead. He just writes his characters really well and the story will write it self. Which in a way makes sense haha

2023-11-02 19:07:57 +0000 UTCAnge had some really good observations about Gon here. First in episode 17 when he said something along the lines that Gon was looking to feel useful again, and at the end of episode 20 when he said that Gon is very selfless but also very selfish.

2023-11-02 17:12:53 +0000 UTCTogashi as a writer is extremely unpredictable, especially in this series. He doesn’t really plan stuff too far ahead and marches to the beat of his own drum, so every arc has a unique feel and genre to it and none of them end how you’d expect.
