EDIT: There seems to be more negative comments on this poll than usual, so we’re almost going to do a tournament style of polls across the next week 🤣 The winner of this poll will progress and verse the winners of other polls we do. This might be the best way to engage with community feedback. The other polls will involve shows that are vastly different to these.
Hey everyone! We're looking to eventually add a relatively short anime as we may have some free slots in the schedule coming up. We do not have a date that we'd start uploading the winner of this poll, but we'd imagine it wouldn't be too far off.
Also, as promised, Re:Zero WILL be replacing Mob Psycho 100 not long after we finish Season 3.
We also heard a lot of your feedback regarding Blue Lock, and we have decided to wait on it just a little longer whilst we get through Haikyuu.
Another Kdrama will come to the channel down the track, but we are having a little break because they do take up a lot of filming time during the week.
This poll will only have 2 options because these two anime intrigue us the most. And yes, we are aware (and have been warned) that Mushoku Tensei can be challenging at times. But these are the two series that we have not yet covered that are not too long that we'd like to bring to the channel at some point. When these uploads start, it will only be a few episodes a week until more slots open up.

I'm just gonna point this out once if either wins, ignore people in the comment sections saying it's extremely questionable. It's just slander. I'm not a huge fan of Mushoku, but people say it's questionable due to stuff I can't name much since spoilers. With Made In Abyss, it literally won anime of the year for season 1, and both seasons 1, 2, and the movie are ranked between 50-100 on MyAnimeList... The reason people will tell you it's "disgusting" is simply because the show doesn't shy away from nudity, or very mild sexual references, the characters being pretty young will then lead absolute morons to default to "it's disgusting", whereas these things are very very minor in quantity, season 1 has I believe 3 or 4 "comments", season 2 has 2. The movie has 1 or 2. It won Anime of the year, is a must-watch, and overall makes many people's top 10s who've actually seen it. Saying Made In Abyss is for disgusting people, would be the exact same as saying Dragonball Z is, it's the exact same stuff. If anything DB and DBZ had worse? Since both of those explicitly drew naked babies/kids, and furthermore, DB had many many things dedicated to kid Goku slapping kid Bulma's crotch, and Roshi's obsession with Bulma + FLASHING? If those things didn't stop you from watching Dragonball, trust me, made in abyss will be perfectly fine.

I would suggest filming both near the beginning and going with the one you like more. This stresses me out so much hahaha. I wish I could explain to you in person how I feel about both shows. I might be so wrong, but I just feel like Carlie would be so uncomfortable (not in the good way) if you guys watch Mushoku Tensei. I've watched Mushoku Tensei from beginning to end, up until recent episodes to try and understand the love people have for it. As someone who has watched a lot of anime since 2014 I honestly do get why people love it so much. But I personally could not ever get over its flaws. I honestly can't explain why. It would be cool for Mushoku Tensei lovers and haters to comment below and discuss the anime with me. Who knows, you guys might love both shows. So it'll be interesting what you guys think, since both shows are highly hated and highly loved.

I'm maybe getting ahead of myself so let's see but I wouldn't hope too much, unfortunately... The final poll won't be super fair.

Season one has some of the best world building I've seen, the way they use the intro to build into the town or location they're in is incredible

2023-10-23 14:48:35 +0000 UTCWow this is a hard choice, probably my two favorite adventure anime and definitely both worth watching and while both can be hard to stomach depending on the viewer, I feel like mushoku tensei is a bit easier and more fun of a watch while MIA is quite serious and can be hard to get through for some. I will watch whatever yall pick super excited for either tbh

Also i still think you guys won't enjoy mushoku tensei as much as the other shows since the show can be a bit too much" morally questionable fan service". It has the same or more level of "gross" with game of thrones, but the story itself is great. if you really want to start classic fantasy show theme , i rather you guys give a try on frieren. It has all that makes mushoku tensei a great classic fantasy minus the fan service and isekai elements . But the final decision is on you guys, if you want still to try the show then it's great too i think.

Was the initial plan to watch either Made in Abyss or Mushoku Tensei (whichever won the poll)... but you've now been forced to scratch that idea due to negative feedback? Or were you always planning to host a "tournament style" series of polls featuring options that are "vastly different" from the 2 options we're currently voting on? It's an interesting concept for sure. I don't believe I've ever seen another reaction channel do it this way. As someone with no interest in the 2 options we're voting on today, this is good news... ...unfortunately, I worry this could backfire. If you take into account the number of people who vote in polls without reading what the post says, I think there's a good chance you'll see even more negative / angry comments. This time, it'll be from people who feel they've been "cheated" because the show they wanted already "won" the poll. It would be their own fault for not reading the post, but I think you'll be seeing some frustration. From the outside looking in, it often seems like running a reaction channel is filled with "damned if we do, damned if we don't" moments. I really hope the negative comments don't get to you.

Pls pls pls hard pass on both these shows, there are so many better shows I would much rather you guys watch than these 2. Pls reconsider what u guys wanna watch. I think the patreons would much rather blue lock than these 2 shows.
