Extraordinary Attorney Woo Ep 16 REACTION!

We're going to miss this amazing cast. We will likely start another K-Drama soon, but not right away! We'll keep everyone updated both here and on Youtube!

Extraordinary Attorney Woo Ep 16 REACTION!

Comments

Great show, "my name" is good tho its a bit more violent and stuff but a good show. The cast and stuff is Woo is so fun.

Fire Cape

please do a reaction to the kings affection. I think you would really like it because it has the same actor as young woo. its very different and you can see how good of an actor she is. also you could react to castaway diva which also has the same actor and its about a person being stranded on an island for 15 years. it also has a mystery and it's a very good show

Zoe Sharp

Might I add "18 Again" It's loosely based on the movie 17 Again. It's very wholesome and a family centered drama. It's so good and very underrated IMO.

Jjaein

I would recommend ''Twinkling Watermelon'' or ''The good bad mother'' best kdramas of 2023.

remvrk

Love watching this again with you!!! Your next korean show should definitely be Mask Girl (netflix, 2023), it was a HUUUUGE hit here in Korea - not as big as squid game or attorney woo but so close to those two... I'm sure it'll attract so many new korean viewers. ㅎ_ㅎ

hkim

true i forgot 1988 had looong episodes, didn't feel like it back when i watched it lol

Mesa

Last thing I heard the production company for Attorney Woo confirmed a Season 2 in 2024. They said they will try their best to keep most of the original cast. As Junho (Kang Tae oh) is enlisted in the military right now he will comeback early next year hopefully he doesn't get replaced. I feel like Season 2 will go more into depth about the beef between Han Seon-young (Hanbada CEO) & Taesumi which should be interesting.

remvrk

We’ve seen it! So good 😭

Carlie & Ange

Yeah I've heard that ones good. Don't get me wrong I very much have enjoyed all the kdramas I've seen so far like they were all a lot of fun to watch (besides not enjoying extra curricular too much) it's more just woo made me feel something more than just enjoyment and has become one of my favourite shows period. Weak class hero did come close to feeling the same amount of emotion as woo (if you've seen you'll know why lol) so that's my 2nd favourite

Callum

Loved watching you go on this journey with Woo Youngwoo. Thank you for being so invested and showing very honest reactions. I look forward to your next Kdrama!

Flora

the only one that I liked as much as Woo was Alchemy of Souls so maybe give that one a go. but only if you like fantasy, as it's a fantasy/historic drama. but yes Woo was also my first K-drama which made it really hard to enjoy some others haha

Martina

Love Reply 1988!

QualityFreak

There’s rumor that season 2 will premiere in 2024... The actor who plays Jun-ho is in the military right now tho but he’ll be discharged in March.

ParkMinJeon

First, it's a love story. BUT, the characters and are very endearing and you root for them. Amazing acting by Park Eun Bin too! First 2 episodes are very heavy! Some episodes are draggy but I might say the ending scene between the protagonist and antagonist is very satisfying! Overall it is a drama worthy of the iEmmy award!

Nibie

he's actually her half brother lol

Romang

You should take a look at this clip of Park Eun Bin (Woo Young Woo) at an the Baeksang Awards (Like the Oscars). You’ll really like this. https://youtu.be/Uq5JYKOOtdI?si=sJTT0E22-4rhHDl4

I can describe how happy I am that you watched this show. I love it so much. The cast is surely one of the best I have seen in anything. All characters are great.😍 As for a new k-drama I would love to suggest Reply 1988, but I fear 20 episodes of 90 - 110 mins might be a bit demanding for a reaction. If it is not for a reaction consider watching it on your own. You will not regret it .😉

MasterOfPuppets

Couple recommendations I'd love to see some time are sweet home and weak class hero 1. Still pretty new to kdrama myself (have seen like 7 now) but woo is easily my favourite so far tbh others don't even come close lol

Callum

One last recommendation “Strong Girl Bong-Soon”. I think this show would be one you 2 would enjoy 1000%. Here are some funny moments. They have come out with a new show called Strong Girl Nam-Soon also but would watch the original first. https://youtu.be/U7C6Alx_j6I?si=tFA2NuwHBzQMM6Te

Hi_MovieVerse

If a show manages to make me cry for a STREET (!) it is totally worth recommending. Your describtion says it all. I support Reply 1988 a lot! But it has to be mentioned that all the 20 episodes are really long (90 mins minimum). If this makes it a no-go please watch it on your own. You will love it! ❤️

MasterOfPuppets

All the recommendations made so far are decent and to be expected but. I’ll agree the one recommended My Name is a good one. But there have already been some reactions on YT to most of the ones recommended. I may sound like a broken record but Taxi Driver stands out more. It’s based on a webtoon and inspired by real life actual heinous crimes committed in Korea and received high praise from its viewers for its acting and stories. It’s got everything action, suspense, drama and comedy. Because of its episodic story telling you’re introduced to new villains and portrayal of new characters played by the main leads that keeps you on the edge of your seats results in satisfying conclusions. The 1st season finale had the 4th highest rating in SBS history while the 2nd season finale had the highest rating of 2023 which is why a 3rd season will be coming soon. You guys would be one of the few if not only reactors to bring this show to public light to some of the masses. It’s a show viewers who are subscribed to Viki or kocowa are well familiar with. Since Ange like all of us are dead then you should check out “The Kingdom” a historical zombie piece which is amazing. The Stranger is another great KDrama series with multiple seasons. Here are the trailers for Taxi driver season 1 & 2. https://youtu.be/Hnnhq_fTV5c?si=ZXfAayUKNzSmgpae https://youtu.be/CEBdrbMKgA8?si=NLzqcv7EpfOljvsR

Hi_MovieVerse

Im not going to lie, it’s not for everyone. However, the story it’s very interesting and engaging! And have a happy ending! You should give it a try!

brit

oh I liked Uncanny Counter! for It's Okay to Not Be Okay, I found it quite overrated. reallyyyy slow paced and I could see the ending from a mile away. but since it's a really popular drama, maybe that's just me

Martina

I haven't watched The King's Affection but all you guys' comments are really making me want to watch it haha

Martina

I recommend My Mister as well and probably Crash Landing On You for something more light hearted (great depiction of life in North Korea with this one). Our Blues is also on par with My Mister for depth but it's handled differently. Mr Sunshine is a cinematographic masterpiece and a great depiction of the historical complexities at the time (1900s). Flower of Evil is a thrilling psychological piece. It's Okay To Not Be Okay is a very well constructed motif-in-motif fairytale piece. Prison Playbook is a more lighthearted My Mister production but still complex in its own right. Celebrity is an interesting focus on influencer life. These are all Netflix recommendations, I can put some more outside Netflix as well. Edit: One The Woman is very lighthearted good fun production headed by a great actress

Andrei Mogosan

my recommendations for a K-drama: 1. Alchemy of Souls - a fantasy drama with a bunch of lovable characters. some action, some romance, an interesting story, BEAUTIFUL sets and costumes 2. Flower of Evil - crime drama that also has some romance, really interesting and unique main characters (husband and wife). can't say too much about this one without spoiling but it really kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time.

Martina

Okay I take back what I said about not recommending any dramas😅😅. Just saw someone else recommend "My Name". I second that, its great (also unlike a few other suggestions in these comments I feel like its fantastic for people still new-ish to kdramas). I know you guys would love it and get very invested

Thilde

Thanks for this journey, i love your reactions the most💗I hope you will react to Its ok not to be ok and Moving very recent new kdrama, really good one

Kumi B

Just a couple of suggestions that might interest you (and rough outline): - Crash landing on you > classic, has a bit of everything as well and a peak into more Korean history etc. - Hotel Del Luna > Fun with a fictional background that's very intriguing, awesome cast led by the legend "IU" - Reply 1988 > A very well received series, very interesting for non-Koreans to explore the older days of Korea, great cast, wholesome plots etc. - Itaewon Class > has a bit of everything from romance, to thriller and political, business stuff, great cast Feeling that you might be more into series that has a more all-rounded plot rather than very dark or thriller themed, so these would be my suggestions!

Mesa

Try reacting to “The King’s Affection” 🩷 The very first K-drama to have an iEmmy award! 🌟 plus the main female actress there is the actress who did Woo Young-woo 🙌🏻 Thank you guys for reacting to this lovely drama🩷

brit

I'm a sucker for good, *wholesome* kdramas with an interesting plot and loveable cast, so here are some of my personal favorites: - Crash Course in Romance (2023) - Hospital Playlist (2020) This has two seasons, and rightfully so because the first season was AMAZING - Prison Playbook (2017) - The Guest (2018) This is definitely more of a thriller/horror but the wholesomeness is there, trust - The Uncanny Counter (2020) Another one with two seasons - Vincenzo (2021) A bit heavy and intense at times. but not enough to ruin the overall good vibes of the show These shows are just as good but focus a little more on romance: - Crash Landing on You (2019) - It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020) - Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021)

QualityFreak

Some short but good kdramas you guys might consider reacting to (8 episodes or less): - My Name (2021) - Bloodhounds (2023) - Mask Girl (2023) ^ Action-packed, intense, and a bit heavy at times is how I'd describe these shows There's also Move to Heaven (2021) which is 10 episodes, but it's a completely different vibe compared to those 3 (way more wholesome and down-to-earth) so it didn't feel right including them in the same list lol

QualityFreak

There are so very many good new and old KDramas. Being Korean I’ve watched my fair share since my wife who is American loves KDramas more than myself. Some of my personal Favs and ones you may consider by watching some trailers of the shows are Taxi Driver seasons 1 & 2 a 3rd will be coming soon. It will remind you a little of Batman but with a Taxi! MOUSE is a tremendous show full of twists and turns with a twist at the end most people didn’t see coming. The King Eternal Monarch, Signal, Tunnel, Voice, Bad & Crazy, Military Prosecutor Doberman. But in my opinion if you could only watch one KDrama series I would hands down recommend Taxi Driver both seasons are amazing and generally after each or every 2 episodes you’re completely satisfied with the outcomes. The actors who play the characters are just amazing even the villains. Trust me if you want views that’s a KDrama that will get you tons. It’s one of the most popular Kdramas within the past 2-3yrs. Can not wait for the 3rd season to drop! Sorry I don’t know the proper etiquette but wanted to share a link to this YT clip of the show and one of its most iconic scenes for many reasons! https://youtu.be/QrUE7CpRktY?si=ooalsE1Qtg8NjE8w

Hi_MovieVerse

The actor who played attorney Jang plays the role of a sleezy snake very well if you think he’s bad on this show then you need to check out “Lawless Lawyer” he’s 100xs worse in this series his character is pretty tame compared to the character he plays on that show.

Hi_MovieVerse

I don't have any recommendations, but I would like to recommend AGAINST reacting to Vincenzo. I'm sorry but I think its the most overrated drama ever😭 Its not like awful or anything. Just really meh. And I don't think the humor would be your guys' thing at all

Thilde

there actually is a deleted scene on youtube where the two CEOs interact, and it hints at their backstory, but maybe in season 2 we'll get the full story between them! (i've heard whispers about season 2 being confirmed, but i'm not 100% sure how accurate that news is) and it's not a k-drama but a live adaptation of a manga, but I think you'd both enjoy Alice in Borderland on netflix!

Maxine

I would like to recommend 'Crash Landing On You' for the next drama, it's my fav K-Drama

Mariam

my wishes for season 2: 1. to see more of Hanbada CEO. I think she's an interesting character, even if she's not 100% good. you don't become CEO of a huge law company by being a goody two shoes. 2. see more of Junho's character, independent from his love for Young Woo. 3. see how Choi and Kwon's relationship will progress 4. see more of Kwon as a good guy and maybe more about his family 5. see a badass Choi moment in the courtroom or when preparing a case. even Kwon had some moments, but I don't think she had any 6. Hairy Boss and Geurami? yeah I ship it

Martina

I would 100% recommend "Goblin". It is a classic, beautifully written, directed and acted, and definitely one of the best Kdramas ever! 🌸💜 P. S. It is written by Kim Eun-sook, who also wrote "The Glory" which I have seen you guys really enjoy and that's a guarantee for a quality drama right there👍

Carol Yu

YESSS lets do itt

mero d

I really want them to react to Mr. Queen too! Let's vote for it once they open a poll!

Nibie

I would like to recommend the k-drama "MOVE TO HEAVEN" if it's not on your radar yet. It's got a male autistic MC and it's incredibly well done

Juri

Please react to Mr.queen, you guys would love it

mero d

I would like to recommend two great K-dramas: Weak Hero Class 1 and Bloodhounds

Rubie

Try "Mr. Queen", "The King's Affection" or "Rookie Historian Goo Hey Ryung" All of these are historical "sets" but they all have interesting stories~!

Jjaein

Theres only a few kdramas I like, i would love to watch you guys react to “it’s ok to not be ok” or “Vincenzo”, those 2 are some of the best in my opinion!
