I think every season has two overarching themes and I'm pretty sure you guys one got one of them in this reaction. Season 1 was emotions and the importance of relationships. Season 2 was people can change and the importance on being hard on people for their own sake. This was very poignant when Mob had to take the hard approach on Reigen by distancing himself from him. This caused Reigen to grow and change himself. And in this season I think the themes are the fear of the future and being honest with yourself.
