2023-09-30 18:42:04 +0000 UTCTrivia again, possibly because the anime is meant for a wider audience. For Sanji and Zeff's story, in the manga Zeff does indeed chop off and eat his own leg. In the anime, he loses his leg rescuing Sanji and just starves for the period they are on the island and is really emanciated by the end of it. Either way, he chooses to keep the treasure and give all the small amount of food to Sanji.

On the anime is episode 30 but if you are going to watch, ignore the recap and the shark in the middle. Again, I liked the live action but Sanji's goodbye hits waaaaay different in the anime, I don't know why they did this way in the LA and would live to see your reaction and comments about it.

2023-09-29 18:00:29 +0000 UTCthey don't show it in the live action, but in the anime sanji is shown refusing to eat the customers' leftovers he'd just dump it in the trash. so during that moment where he's stranded and staring at the moldy piece of bread, he is reminded how wasteful he was towards food. which leads to him appreciating food and is sympathetic towards those who can't afford to eat
