2023-09-26 08:07:52 +0000 UTCthis was not a childhood anime of mine, i began watching it earlier this year and will finish it very soon (last 10 episodes) and it broke into my top 3. yes, you should just experience it and not let fanatical fans sway your opinion too much, but it is undeniably great and rewarding and its quality should not be dismissed in such a way. just make your own opinions and give it time to show itself. i did and im super glad i did.

2023-09-25 21:40:24 +0000 UTCShow's really good, but don't worry too much if you feel your enjoyment isn't on the level of your comments, there's nothing wrong with it. People who love HxH are pretty fanatical about it, I assume because for a lot of them it was THE childhood anime for them, to the point where people act like it's all a masterpiece even when it absolutely isn't. It's a great show though, that'll reward you for sticking with it especially since it definitely trends to getting better as it goes on.

Character development, the story telling and building, this show feels so different compared to all of the ones we are use to watching and I’m sure you’ll love it the more you watch. 2023-09-25 18:07:57 +0000 UTCHxH is a slow starter but it gets much better. I'm sure you'll enjoy it :) By the way, just a note, the Captain said rest easy, not rest in peace XD the Japanese word he used is "anshin shiro" which means something like "be at ease" or "don't worry".

Also when I watched this with my dad I had to push him a lot to get through the first bit but he started to really enjoy it and now we are on episode 100 and he loves it and I think you guys will too
