That is very much a spoiler

The fact that i like sanji live action and not the anime... LOOL

Ooh I didn't know that Sanji was the oldest😅.

Luffy does drink any time the crew celebrates as far as we know — since he drinks out of a beer mug. Luffy is also kind of a geek in terms of his personal preferences, but he’s also the type of person that doesn’t care what other people think when he makes weird choices. Drinking milk is a good way to show off that character trait quickly and succinctly. Even though the ages are defined by the creator, Oda, they’ve never been defined by their age. There is only one line in over 1000 chapters where Ussop says his age and the chapter is in the 1000s.

Maybe a minor spoiler because that part hasn't been adapted yet so it may well happen that way

Great point, which is also a great addition imo that comes with showing Garp early on.. Another thing about Garp in LA, during the flashback he destroyed Luffy's raft, and in this episode Luffy defended his new ship and said something like: "I didn't know I could do that!" . Love it!

Yes. Before TS, Luffy and Ussop were 17, and Nami was 18. The oldest being Sanji and Zoro, 19. Sanji is the older of the pair.

Chandrasekhar Tandia

I wouldn't call that small appearance as being introduced. We didn't get the connection between them until post Enies, until that point he was just a random dude that helped Luffy out one time

Mikki_Frost

But he is hitting on ladies constantly. I am confused.

Just an FYI Luffy's 17 which is why he acts a little more childishly than the others. (I think him drinking milk is just that he prefers it over beer or whatever, but he also canonically doesn't drink (atleast as far as I've got through the anime which isn't much)). Usopp is also 17 or 18 while Nami and Sanji are 18. Zoro is 19 making him the oldest out the 5. Next episode is going to be a treat, can't wait to see you guys react!

GK1097

Not really a spoiler but in the anime luffy's father (garp's son) was introduced very early and way before his grand father

You are right with the villain completely owning the episode here. What a presence. I would be all in for a spin-off ngl. Amazing characters in general. 😃👍

One Piece is not just a ''somewhat politically driven show'', it's actually its best part and one of the central focuses of the story with really diverse and complex justices that different characters are trying to achieve. That's why I think you need to react to the anime, it's just too good.

Also, no spoilers but in the anime, Garp is introduced like 200 eps in and we absolutely do not know Luffy has any family till that reveal at that time. Garp is added in the live action this early as a new thing. I enjoy that Garp is kind of a pirate in his own way but within the system. He openly says he turns down promotions to just do things his own way but still be a part of the system.

Garp is interesting because the first thing we see him do is literally kill the King of the Pirates, which is his grandson's ambition. From his perspective, it totally makes sense that he would want his family to be Navy if they want to hang out on the seas rather than a pirate because even if you reach the top, you'll have the Navy and everyone else on your tail looking to kill you.

They do not explain it in the live action but Sanji doesn't use his hands to fight due to it being the most important that a chef needs to cook. As losing his hands in a fight means he can never be a chef.

Brandon Rodriguez

a lil info about sanji's mottos: NEVER HIT A LADY and HANDS ARE ONLY FOR COOKING
