Yup. I was actually really impressed Ange made that connection because that side storyline was definitely put in there intentionally. That ep was supposed to make you think, not necessarily on who's guilty and who's innocent (notice how they made sure to portray both the bf and the mom as bad people), but on how we define intellectual autonomy of a person.

2023-09-18 05:41:18 +0000 UTChonestly, i don't think ange is too far off in saying that choi having a one night stand could possibly relate to this case. even if it isn't, one can see the contrast between how sex is treated/perceived differently when it comes to women who are neurotypical, like choi, and women who may have disabilities. with choi, her one night stand is no big deal. but for someone like the victim of the case, it's much more complicated
